The Lakers missed five straight shots during the Rockets' late spurt before Bryant sank a fadeaway with 1:28 remaining to cut it to 100-99. Video: Kobe makes impossible reverse

Just when you thought that Kobe Bryant couldn't do anything more incredible, check out this clip from last night's Lakers/Mavericks affair. Midway through the third quarter, Lakers forward Pau Gasol throws an alley-oop pass to Bryant who somehow makes the lay-up with his back to the basket:

Lakers keep close but struggle in loss to Jazz

LOS ANGELES Kobe Bryant knew early on that it was going to be one of THOSE nights. "Definitely easy to see when we're playing like s, (along with) the fact that I shot like s," Bryant said with a smirk after the Lakers committed 24 turnovers and lost to Utah 103-99 at STAPLES Center Sunday night. It was just the third loss in 22 home games for the 28-17 Lakers and...

Lakers Lose To Rockets After Bynum Ejected.

HOUSTON, March 20 – Let’s not even lie. Our thoughts fast forwarded IMMDEIATLY to this game when Derek Fisher was traded from the Lakers to the Rockets last week. After Fisher’s no-show and eventual buy-out, it was not to be. But there was plenty of napalm to go around towards the end of this one. Kobe, Khloe take issue with Mavs' crowd booing Odom

Kobe Bryant came to the defense of his former teammate on Wednesday. After more than just a few boos were aimed in the direction of Lamar Odom from the crowd at Dallas' American Airlines Center, Bryant reached his boiling point. "That's just stupidity," Bryant told ESPN Dallas after the Lakers' 109-93 victory over the Mavericks. The crowd got on Odom even...

Mavs Fans: Stop Booing Lamar Odom

(Photo Credit: Mark J. Rebilas — US Presswire) It seems that Kobe Bryant and I agree on this. First, let me qualify that I am not about to defend him. Rather, I’m about to make an outlandishly obvious statement. He can’t handle it. In fact, he can hardly handle anything right now. His psyche is [...]

My Opinion – Old School

Over time, people like to compare the players of today to the players of yesterday, back in the day, and its impossible to do that. Fairly anyway. A lot of the players of today are more about entertainment, money and they have that what’s in it for me syndrome. Now I’m not saying every player is like that, but if you were to look and compare say a player such as Kobe Bryant...
