Gregg Popovich admits he's a jerk to sideline reporters; wife doesn't like it

San Antonio Spurs coach Gregg Popovich is as disrespectful to sideline reporters as he is successful as a coach. The strange thing is the coach admits he’s a jerk toward them.“I know, I’m a jerk. I’m going to go ahead and admit it publicly to the whole world,” Popovich said during an interview on the “Dan LeBatard Show” Wednesday. The problem is that Popovich doesn...

Gregg Popovich’s wife to Spurs coach husband: ‘You’re a jerk, people hate you’

San Antonio Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich is well know in NBA circles as a man who can barely tolerate what he considers the more annoying aspects that go hand-in-hand with being an NBA coach, most notably being forced to deal with the media. In fact, Popovich actually deplores the excruciating

Choosing Powell or Curry

The San Antonio Spurs definitely need to add more size to the roster. We’ve known that for years. This year, they have some options, but definitely a tough choice. Josh Powell and Eddy Curry have been competing hard to make the final cut. They’ve put up similar numbers in the Spurs’ two preseason games, making it hard to distinguish between the pair. Last season he was traded to the Denver Nuggets for a chance to reinvent himself as a player and move past his series of hilariously epic failures (definitely watch the video if you are having a bad day). Last...

Iguodala ready to reboot on court image

Andre Iguodala is near the top of a lot of most underrated catergories. He is the most underrated wing defender in the league (he is the best wing defender in the league and did not make either NBA Defensive Team). He was the most underrated member of both the 2010 and 2012 Team USA Gold Medal teams. He is also the most underrated dunker in the league (I give you the 2006 NBA...
