PLAYERS: Dwyane Wade
TEAMS: Miami Heat
Dwyane Wade admits he will not be ready for the Miami Heat's season opener when training camp starts, but his goal is to use camp to prepare himself for it. "I won't be ready for opening night when training camp starts," Wade said. "But I'll be ready for opening night when opening night gets here." Wade believed he did not need to have the blood-spinning procedure in Germany. "Nah," Wade said. "I wasn't taking that flight. But you ask your doctors what they feel, and they didn't feel I needed to go there."
