Found February 07, 2012 on Cleveland Frowns:
An interesting bit picked up by PD’s Starting Blocks this morning, a tweet from ESPN’s Marc Stein about Anderson Varejao: “Cavs indeed getting calls from teams wanting Varejao, I’m told, but he’s played himself to near-untouchable status while all focus on Kyrie.” Which confirms suspicions that the Cavs are doomed to somewhere between the 7th playoff seed and 11th lottery pick for the next 5 years at least, though the schedule does start to pick up here so we might have one more season before getting stuck. Cavs! ————— In other news: Cleveland City Council OK’s $5.8 million for Browns Stadium Repairs; The PD’s Mark Naymik says “we need a better way to pay for stadiums“; and Metroparks cordoned off for bald eagle nesting. “Bald eagles returned to the Cuyahoga Valley in 2006, after an absence of 70 years,” which is something. Happy Tuesday, everybody. One down, 57 days till opening day, 79 till the draft. Tweet
