Found August 03, 2013 on Turn On The Knicks:
According to ESPN’s Marc Stein, the New York Knicks are in pursuit of free agent point guard Beno Udrih, in hopes of signing another veteran to come off the bench. Udrih would be a great addition to the Knicks point guard rotation with his ability to shoot the three, create shots for his teammates, while bringing solid NBA experience to the table on a nightly basis. The only catch is the Knicks can only sign a free agent to the veteran’s minimum. Udrih would have to be convinced to take a substantial pay cut, after a season where he made a respectable 7.3 million dollars while playing for the Milwaukee Bucks, then eventually finishing the season with the Orlando Magic. With Jameer Nelson constantly hampered with injuries, Udrih did a solid job filling in as the full-time point guard, showing he’s capable of even a larger role when needed. The simple fact is, Udrih can put up solid offensive numbers. Udrih obviously doesn’t have the respect, championship pedigree, and leadership tha...
