Found November 20, 2013 on The Fantasy Fix:
Terrence Jones Another of the long line of NBA ‘tweeners’, Jones’ calling card in fantasy is his versatility. He produced when given minutes last season, as illustrated by his numbers in which he played a minimum of 20 minutes. Although it is a very small sample size of just seven games (remember he only played 19 games his rookie year), Jones put up 11.1 points, 7.3 rebounds, 1 assist, 1.1 steals, 2.1 blocks and 47/73 shooting splits. You can live with the shooting splits because he doesn’t attempt many from the field or the line, and really if he is shooting from the floor there’s a high likelihood he’s either dunking or having a go from behind the arc. This season Donatas Motiejunas, Greg Smith and Jones were all expected to vie for the starting PF spot, but after strong preseasons from Omri Casspi and Francisco Garcia threatened to further cloud Jones’ path to minutes, it was Omer Asik who was given the nod as a starter next to Dwight Howard. It looked ominous early while Asik w...

WATCH: Dwight Howard made an appearance on Sesame Street

Houston Rockets center Dwight Howard is one of the most polarizing figures in sports.  On one hand, he's a fun-loving goofball who seems like he should be one of the most popular players in the NBA.  On the other hand, he's an indecisive monster who has left a trail of carnage in both Orlando and Los Angeles.  There's not a lot of middle ground. Howard showed that...

One of Dwight Howard's Baby Mommas--Hope Alexa--is Hot! (and I have proof)

Dwight Howard is another one of those guys that has multiple kids by different mothers-- or so we think. He has been able to keep his reproductive life under wraps for the most part (an impressive accomplishment), but when you are a superstar like him there is no way everything can be kept quiet.Near as I can tell (or find on the internet) he has as many as five kids with each by...

Omer Asik did not address his trade request or unwillingness to play or practice last week, but he did say that he is ready to help the Houston Rockets again. “The thing is, I was just frustrated,” Asik said at Tuesday’s shootaround. “It’s behind me now. I’m just looking forward to help my team to win.” When asked if he still wanted to be traded, Asik declined to comment...

Dwight Howard receives technical foul after tossing ball at heckler (video)

Sometimes, Dwight Howard can’t seem to get out of his own way. From the debacle that was his drawn-out divorce with the Orlando Magic to his inability to ingratiate himself into the roster during his brief stint with the Los Angeles Lakers, Howard seems incapable of avoiding missteps along the way. The Houston Rockets center […]The post Dwight Howard receives technical foul after...

Video: Dwight Howard gets a technical for throwing basketball at heckler

Tweet I’m not sure whether Dwight Howard is truly annoyed with fans or if he’s embraced this whole ‘bad guy’ persona, but you can’t go tossing basketballs at a fan during an NBA game and not expect some type of consequence, which is exactly what happened last night when Houston lost to the Mavericks in Dallas. Here’s video: I’d expect...

Vince Carter Says Dwight Howard Is “The Biggest Crybaby I Know”

Vince Carter  thinks that Dwight Howard is a crybaby simple as that. According to Tim MacMahon of  ESPN, Carter let Howard know just that during a timeout in the second quarter of Wednesday’s Rockets-Mavericks game. Per MacMahon “Carter interrupted Howard’s one-sided discussion with an official to loudly and repeatedly tell the Rockets center that he was ...

Terrence Jones' coming-out party continues with 24 points and nine boards on Day 22

Terrence Jones, I'm fond of you. The Rockets' starting power forward turned in a gem in Tuesday's 109-85 win over the Boston Celtics. The second-year player made 10-of-12 shots for 24 points, including a three-pointer (and 3-of-4 freebies).
