With the Phoenix Suns beginning workouts for draft prospects Monday morning at US Airways Center, we ducked into the Twitterverse to determine which players may be participating.
Based on tweet-revealed travel plans, the only name to pop up en route to Phoenix thus far is ... Kenny Kadji.
Not exactly a name to stir the imagination, is it?
Kadji, a 6-foot-10 senior from the University of Miami via Cameroon, has been pegged as a second-round prospect (if that) in most mock drafts. His NBA comparison, according to NBADraft.net, is Bernard James of the Dallas Mavericks.
And thats not even close. Kadji, unlike the defensive-minded, range-limited James, is a pretty good shooter. He made 35 percent of his 134 attempted 3-pointers for the Canes (he shot at a 42 percent clip on less than half as many attempts as a junior) while averaging 13 points and a tick under seven rebounds per game.
By the way, Kadji is 25 years old, a variable that probably knocks him down a few spots on the prio...
