As Monta Ellis goes, so go his Golden State Warriors (4-8). He's their best player, maybe the most underrated offensive player in the Association overall, and he will need to be contained by the Cavaliers tonight. He's averaging 24 points and almost 8 assists per game through these first twelve on forty percent shooting from the floor, and staying in front of Ellis to make him settle for three pointers would be a good idea. POTD 1/14/12: Monta Ellis On Tyrus Thomas
Monta’s best dunk since Barbosa? That’s a statement I’m making without too much consideration, but off the top of my head I’m failing to come up with a better one in between. Check it out, keeping in mind that this posterization is nastier than it is spectacular.
Like I said, it’s not the most spectacular slam you’ve ever seen, but one...
