Randy Foye was 8-9 from three-point range tonight, scoring 26 points. Yep, D-Will's return to Utah didn't go very well for the Nets
Eventually, the seven-game, 13-night nature of the Western United States portion of the Nets' circus road trip would catch up to the game. Tonight in Utah, it looks like it finally did. Missing Joe Johnson for the fourth-straight game, the Nets were able to stay close through the first half of the game (taking a 54-52 lead after the game's first 24 minutes) but completely fell apart in the second half, highlighted by an unconscious stretch of three-point shooting from Utah's Randy Foye, who hit five treys in the third quarter alone. Off the momentum of Foye's effort, the Jazz were able to build a double-digit lead that they would hold until the final buzzer sounded.
Brooklyn got off to a rough start, allowing its opponent to score 33 first-quarter points on 15-22 shooting, good for 68 percent. The Nets we...

Brooklyn Nets forward Reggie Evans had his best game of the season on Wednesday in a win over the Portland Trailblazers, scoring 22 points and grabbing a whopping 26 rebounds. For a player who averages 4.2 points and 10.4 rebounds per game, it was a standout performance. So what got into him?
Evans says he drew motivation from a teammate who thought he should be benched.
DENVER Brooklyn Nets guard Jerry Stackhouse is likely to retire after this season. But he wont be done with basketball.
The 18-year veteran said its highly unlikely he will play next season. He then anticipates having a role with the NBA Players Association.
Its not completely sold that I dont get the bug (to play) again,'' Stackhouse told FOX Sports Florida before Friday...
Reggie Evans is playing some great basketball this month, averaging 7.3 points on 50% shooting and a league-best 15.5 rebounds per game, not to mention a career-best 22-point, 26-rebound performance in a win at Portland Wednesday, so what’s brought this on? Evans is playing inspired after a teammate told interim coach, P.J. Carlesimo, that the forward should be benched because...
Players talk. They talk about other opposing players and they talk about their own players at times too. That’s just the way the cookie crumbles. Some players choose to wait outside with a handful of security guards to hash out their grievances concerning another player talking mess, while other players choose to let their game do the talking for them.
NBA player Reggie Evans has...
After moving back into the final playoff spot in the Western Conference, the Utah Jazz have an opportunity to deliver another big blow to the Portland Trail Blazers' fading playoff hopes.
The Jazz will try for their season-best fifth straight victory and beat the reeling Blazers for the second time in three days on Monday night.
Utah's postseason chances appeared slim after...
Last year, the Nets called up former Celtic Gerald Green from the D-League. Green played in 31 games for the Nets, averaging 12.9 points, 3.5 rebounds and 1.1 assists per game. He shot 48% from the field and 39% from beyond the arc. Green's play with the Nets was good enough to land him a 3 year $9 million contract from Indiana this season, which the Nets didn't match...

Yesterday, news came out that the Nets finally filled out their 15th and last roster spot--a spot left open when the team released Josh Childress in December--by calling...
Due to a plantar fascia injury, the Nuggets' Ty Lawson won't be able to play tonight for Denver vs the Nets. Conversely, with a new heel injury, Joe Johnson probably won't go for Brooklyn
As the Nets try to improve to 5-1 on their circus road trip and attempt to keep pace with the Knicks in the Atlantic Division and Knicks and Pacers in the Eastern...
