That NBA Lottery Pick:
Ladies and Gentleman, it looks like we have an early favorite for the "NBA Block Of The Year" coming courtesy of Indiana Pacers forward Gerald Green.During tonight's game against the Miami Heat, Mario Chalmers appeared to have an easy lay-up until Green rose well above the rim to deny him the basket:

Last year on That NBA Lottery Pick, we featured video from Shane Battier's charity karaoke event called "South Beach Battioke".Well, this year's edition is coming soon and if the introduction video is anything to judge the actual event on...it will be "Love Boat-tastic":For those of you wanting to attend the event, it will be held on January 21st at the...
Thanks to the crazy social networking age that we live, ordinary people these days have more ability to connect with their favorite NBA athletes and teams via FaceBook and Twitter along with the vice versa.Back on Sunday, Miami Heat owner Mickey Arison took to the Twitterverse to comment on certain Miami Heat fans who weren't exactly pleased with the team's recent losing...
The Pacers defeated the defending NBA champs last night 87-77 in Indiana last night and to add insult to injury, Pacers' DJ Augustin and Gerald Green connected on a fabulous ally-oop.
In the second quarter, Augustin found a cutting Green to the rim for the easy two. What is more interesting is the lack of interior defense from the Heat and how bad Green shook Ray Allen to...
Indiana Pacers coach Frank Vogel likes the message his new contract extension sends.
He says it shows the Pacers' building process is gaining steam and there's no need to change directions.
One day after the team announced it had given Vogel a new deal, he told reporters he was ''excited'' to coach this team beyond this season. The team has not released...
The Indiana Pacers announced Monday they have signed head coach Frank Vogel to a contract extension. Per team policy, no terms were revealed.
Vogel is in his third year as Pacers coach after taking over on Jan. 30, 2011. Going into Tuesday night’s home game with Miami, Vogel has coached exactly 100 games, compiling a 62-38 record. Last season, the Pacers had a 42-24 record, fifth...
The Miami Heat won the championship last season by using their small lineup, thus sliding LeBron James to power forward and Chris Bosh to center. Even previously, this version of the Miami Heat were never a big team, with a rotation of average to below average big men, such as Udonis Haslem, Joel Anthony, etc.
When you play small ball, one of the first concerns you have usually includes...
INDIANAPOLIS -- It wasn't a playoff game, but the Indiana Pacers showed they can hang with the Miami Heat. The Pacers beat the defending NBA champions 87-77 at Bankers Life Fieldhouse on Tuesday night. The victory was the eighth straight at home for the Pacers. "A great team win, a real solid effort on the glass," Pacers coach Frank Vogel said. "We had great...
With Josh Harrellson's release, the Heat have two roster spots open.
The Indiana Pacers have signed forward Dominic McGuire to a 10-day contract.
McGuire is a 6-foot-9, 235-pound forward who has played with six teams during his six-year NBA career. He played nine games earlier this season with the New Orleans Hornets where he averaged 2.1 points and 3.1 rebounds.
McGuire was Washington's second-round draft pick in 2007, No. 47 overall.
Knocking them out of a regular season game at home isn't quite the same as knocking them out of the playoffs, but the Pacers should nevertheless be very happy with their performance last tonight after topping the defending champs 87-77 in Indiana.
They were able to do it without Danny Granger, the team's top scorer over the past five seasons (as well as with a sick and...
The champs are here

As you can clearly see (and hear) on this video as he covers "The Love Boat" theme song. This man has a very special gift. South Florida is blessed to have him.
In its exploration to sign a big man, the Miami Heat will work out ex-Denver Nuggets center Chris Andersen, league sources told Yahoo! Sports.
Andersen, famously known as “The Birdman,” arrived in Miami on Monday for a physical and workouts over the next two days with the defending NBA champions, sources said.
