This is my second season having season tickets. I happen to think my section is the funniest, loudest and most passionate section in the Verizon Center. Okay I might be a little biased but hey, it’s my section! I sit in Section 106, which is directly behind the basket and in the 4th quarter it’s the visiting teams’ basket. In close games the 106 gets to rocking. G-Man comes to the section, his drum in hand and starts leading the “DE-FENSE” chant much to the dismay of the opposing team fans that infiltrate the Phone Booth every game. Free throws in the 4th quarter get booed as heartily as Andray Blatche, ESPECIALLY when Chik-Fil-A sandwiches are on the line. Every game in the 4th quarter someone chooses an opposing player and if that player misses two free throws, everyone wins a free Chik-fil-A sandwich; you owe it to yourself to go to a Wizards game just to see the crowd’s reaction at Sandwich Time as we like to call it.
