The once-promising season of the Minnesota Timberwolves is spiraling out of control courtesy of injuries that have decimated the roster. The T’Wolves are now sitting at 16-20 after dropping its fifth-straight game on Thursday night, losing to the Los Angeles Clippers by a score of 90-77.
Adding injury to injury, two more Timberwolves players limped off the Target Center court on Thursday. Added to the walking wounded: center Nikola Peković and guard Alexey Shved, meaning that the Wolves essentially have more players nursing injuries and recovering from surgeries than they have healthy bodies. Not good.
