Celtics Green ...a boston celtics blog.:
Rondo didn't start against the Heat and word was that he was sent to the hospital for an MRI for a suspected hyperextended knee. Rondo is back in the building and the report is that he has a torn ACL. As can be expected, Rondo didn't want to speak to the media. That's a lot to digest for him. This changes everything for the Celtics at this point. Danny has some serious thinking to do about what direction to take the team in now. More news when it becomes available.
Thinking maybe Danny should give Delonte West a call.

If Danny pulls the trigger and acquires Delonte it would almost be “Belichick-ian” with such a low risk, high reward move. Delonte is currently playing for the Dallas Mavericks D-league affiliate, but Mark Cuban came out a few days ago and said that there is no chance he’ll get called up to the Mavericks. So hypothetically it wouldn’t take much to get him, unless the Mavericks...
Delonte West headed to the D-League and the Texas Legends with the hopes of getting buckets and impressing his way into a 10 day contract with the Mavs.

“That doesn’t mean we don’t like Delonte, care about him as a person, want to help him get back on track.”...
Delonte West’s stint with the D-League’s Texas Legends will not lead to his return to the Mavericks.
“Not gonna happen,” Mark Cuban said, cutting off any speculation that the Mavs might welcome back West. “That doesn’t mean we don’t like Delonte, care about him as a person, want to help him get back on track…..It’s not worth talking about at this point in time,”...
Once again, the Dallas Mavericks D-League team, the Texas Legends, is making news. Last week, we wrote about the addition of Delonte West to the Legends, but now, they’ve outdone themselves. According to reports from ESPN, the Legends are now making a push for long time 76ers point guard, and NBA bad boy Allen Iverson. [...] Related posts: Delonte West is back…sort of O.J. Mayo...
