Probably the only connection for NBA fans to the bankruptcy of famed snack treat conglomerate Hostess is the many NBA aficionados who have enjoyed Twinkies from the comfort of their couches as basketball stars who are much more fit run the court. But even if NBA players aren’t eating their share of Twinkies, count Celtics coach Doc Rivers among those disappointed that Hostess products may soon be fleeing the shelves. Rivers was told of the company’s fate Saturday before the Celtics took on the Raptors, and he expressed dismay — and some other thoughts.
