On Saturday night, the USA basketball team announced their final roster.  The Sixers star Andre Iguodala has been working out with the potential players, and today  Iggy and the Sixers organization received some great news.  Iguodala was nominated to represent team USA in the 2012 Olympics in London.  Iggy is the first Sixer to do so since Allen Iverson in 2004. Head coach Doug Collins, a former Olympian had this to say about the Sixers guard:
"Congrats to Dre, Nobody could be more pleased than I am that he's starting to get the recognition for being a great player. Being an Olympian in 1972, I know what this means for him and I'm very proud."
