Bay Sports Report:
The Golden State Warriors signed 17 year veteran Jermaine O’Neal to a one-year, two million dollar contract this off-season. Although the six time all-star has played almost two decades in the league, he will only be 35 during the start of the regular season. After two injury plagued seasons with the Boston Celtics, O’Neal turned back the clock with the Phoenix Suns last season as he played in over 50 games and averaged 8.3 points and 5.3 rebounds. With Festus Ezeli expected to be out for atleast six to nine months, O’Neal will play a pivotal role backing up the oft-injured Andrew Bogut.
If O’Neal can have the same form that he had last year with the Suns, the Warriors will have gotten a bargain in free agency. With Bogut likely to miss a fair share of games throughout the season it is of upmost importance that the Warriors get quality starts from O’Neal.
With Ezeli expected to return before the trade deadline, O’Neal would only be a key player for the Warriors for the first few months of the season. O’Neal’s 35 year old frame should be able to handle 3-5 months as a spot starter. The Warriors will have a plethora of scoring options on the squad so O’Neal would need to focus on defending the paint and securing rebounds. O’Neal will also provide invaluable insight to some of the younger players on the team. Even if O’Neal has lost a step this year, he can’t be worse than the Latvian nightmare Andris Biedrins.

The Golden State Warriors made under-the-radar moves last season by acquiring veteran role players Carl Landry and Jarret Jack. Both of them provided veteran leadership throughout the season. Without Jack and Landry the Warriors certainly would not have had the success they had last season. With Curry’s fragile ankles constantly giving him trouble, Jack stepped onto the court...
Hey, this might be a joke, but it’s pretty funny in the fact Zumba is usually synonymous to middle-aged women, not young professional athletes such as Stephen Curry. Although, it would be funny to see a bunch of NBA players perform in a Zumba class. The post Golden State Warriors’ Stephen Curry does Zumba (Vine Video) appeared first on The NBA Passionista .

The Golden State Warriors made quite the splash last year when they debuted a new, short-sleeved jersey. As expected, the jerseys were met with some resistance by players and fans alike, but were a big cash grab for Adidas.
With that in mind, it shouldn’t come as a huge surprise that more teams will be sticking their hand into the cash pot this upcoming season. In June, ESPN’s...
Looks like Stephen Curry is doing his very best to be in peak physical condition for the Golden State Warriors next year. Nothing like a good jazzercise class to get you ready for the NBA. You have to love Curry’s sense of humor and fun loving attitude.

When I first saw this article last season about the Golden State Warriors unveiling the short sleeve uniforms made by Adidas, my first thought was why are they wearing one of those give away t-shirts during a game.
Thinking this must have been a new design that got “leaked out” to gauge the fans reaction. I thought it would follow in the tradition of the San Francisco 49ers...
The NBA released its 2013-14 NBA schedule on Tuesday. It’s Christmas for basketball nerds starved for relevant NBA news in the dead of summer.
