Now, that’s how to use a billboard. The Chicago Bulls showed plenty of fight when they won the first game of their second-round series against the Miami Heat, and despite the Bulls getting blown out Wednesday night in Game 2, here’s guessing that the city is in this one for the long haul. A local electronic billboard is doing what it can to poke fun at the Heat as the Bulls try to upend the defending champions. The billboard, which identifies itself (very helpfully) on Twitter as “on the Command Transportation build near Niles Center Road,” visible from the Edens Expressway toward Chicago, has started putting up some cool hometown ads. In this one, Joakim Noah is making good use of a fire extinguisher. Marco Belinelli gets some sort of applause for the $15,000 fine he recently incurred against the Nets. Well done, Bulls fans. Hopefully, more to come? Hat tip to Ball Don’t Lie Photos via Twitter/@CommandSign Photo of the Day Bob Melvin may have a point, Angel Hernandez. Tweet of the Day Yep. The Yankees also batted their pitcher eighth Wednesday night. Vernon Wells has played 2,142 pro games -- 1,593 in bigs and 549 in minors. I'll just hit a homer now.'"— Andy McCullough (@McCulloughSL) May 09, 2013 Video of the Day The Kings are doing that winning thing again.
