Joakim Noah is a warrior. Dude scraps and fights for everything he gets, and on Thursday night he nearly got a triple-double (11 points, 12 rebounds and eight assists with a block in 33 minutes) in Chicago's 97-87 loss to the Denver Nuggets. Noah's line was his best of this young season and hopefully the sign of a turnaround. The former Florida Gators' numbers have been down across the board (except for a slight uptick in steals) compared to last season. Through nine games, Noah is putting up 8.8 points, 8.9 rebounds, 3.1 assists, .9 blocks and 1.4 steals in 29.8 minutes.  Compare that to last season: 11.9 points, 11.1 rebounds, 4 assists, 2.1 blocks and 1.2 steals in 36.8 minutes.Clearly the reduction in minutes is taking a toll on his production. But that's likely a good thing for his longevity. Bulls coach Tom Thibodeau ran him into the ground last season. (He missed 16 games, largely due to plantar fasciitis last season.) As Noah proves he's healthy, I expect his minutes to rise. Thursday night was a good sign.Wilson Chandler had a horrible game, missing both of his shots and finishing with zero points, three rebounds, three assists and a steal in 27 minutes. Jordan Hamilton, left for dead after Chandler's ascension to the starting lineup, led the Nuggets with 17 points (6-of-12 shooting, 3-of-6 three-pointers, 2-of-3 free throws), six rebounds, a steal and a block in 22 minutes. Hamilton hadn't played this well in weeks and hadn't cracked 20 minutes in a game since November 8. So flag him, star him but don't add him until he proves this wasn't a fluke.Mike Dunleavy looks like a solid pickup. Starting for the injured Jimmy Butler, Dunleavy scored 15 points on 6-of-11 shooting, including two three-pointers, to go with five rebounds, two assists, a steal and a block in 31 minutes. He's available in a majority of leagues, and he'll get a couple of weeks to produce.Derrick Rose scored 19 points on 9-of-20 shooting, knocking down a three, grabbing four boards and handing out four dimes in 33 minutes. His return hasn't gone smoothly. If you're thinking of trading him, check yourself. You're not going to get equal value. Luol Deng had an awful shooting night (3-of-18 field goals with no threes). While Deng couldn't hit a shot, he did hit the boards, crashing for 13 to go with two assists and a steal. He'd played well coming into last night's game, so hold tight.Carlos Boozer scored 15 points to go with 10 rebounds, two steals and a block. His averaging close to a double-double (16.3 points and 9 rebounds). His front-court competition -- J.J. Hickson and Kenneth Faried -- combined for 20 rebounds. Hickson went for 14 and nine in 29 minutes. The Manimal got 12 and 11 with two blocks, two assists and a steal in 30 minutes. Ty Lawson cooled off, scoring 10 points on 3-of-9 shots. Lawson distributed seven assists, grabbed three boards, stole a ball and hit a three. Chalk it up to an off night and get ready for his bounce-back game.
