Waiting For Next Year:
A lot of people are talking without a lot of experience. When it comes to being in that position, it’s rough. You’re 21, 22. Everyone has something to say. When things aren’t going well, they’re usually not very nice. You’ve got to be mentally very strong.
— Chicago Bulls center Joakim Noah in regard to Cleveland Cavaliers power forward Anthony Bennett. Bennet has been a focal point through the first two weeks of the NBA season as he has struggled on the offensive end despite being the No. 1 overall draft pick. The Cavaliers—similar to a certain WFNY scribe—have since referred to Bennett as a “luxury” due to having an established frontcourt in place. “Coming in No. 1 from the Draft, everybody has high expectations,” said Bennett. “This situation, I don’t have to produce right away. I feel like there’s a lot of other players, young talented players in my position and on the team who can help me out along the way. I’m just here for the learning experience and then later on in the season, hopefully I can do my thing.” On the season, Bennet is averaging 0.7 points, 2.6 rebounds and 10.9 minutes in seven games played.

On nights when Kyrie Irving isn't good offensively, the Cleveland Cavaliers' offense isn't good. This might sound like an obvious oversimplification, or a way to deflect blame from Mike Brown's game plan, but that doesn't make it any less true.
When Irving asserts himself offensively and embraces a leadership role like he did by going for 39 points...
