Kansas fans have started a White House petition after the revealing of the most hideous uniforms in college basketball earlier today.
The petition, which requires 100,000 signatures, is clear in its purpose:
Adidas has designed uniforms for KU basketball that are stylistically heinous and tarnish a venerated institution. Stand up for our university, for coherent color schemes, and for the spirit of Wilt Chamberlain.
Adidas clearly went overboard with their appalling clashing uniforms and while the petition will not carry weight before conference tournaments, a legitimate uprising of this mockey is refreshing.

What you see above are the new “uniform systems” created by Adidas that six college teams–Cincinnati, Kansas, Notre Dame, Baylor, UCLA, and Louisville–will wear during conference tournament play starting on March 13.
Now if we’re all honest about these “uniform systems”, we would all agree that they are bad. Really bad. But most of us can quickly get over them and move...
During the seventies, despite the NBA having several very strong teams, especially during the first half of the decade, no team managed to repeat. The Lakers and the Bucks seemed the likeliest teams to repeat after winning titles in the early seventies. But no team managed to do so. In fact, no team dominated the seventies like the Celtics dominated the sixties.
