Jose Calderon is meeting with the Sacramento Kings on Tuesday.
Vivek Ranadive, Pete D'Alessandro, Mike Malone and Chris Mullin will be present for the meeting with Calderon.
Calderon was traded last season to the Detroit Pistons in January. The Pistons are interested in re-signing Calderon.

Jose Calderon provided the Detroit Pistons a nice option at point guard following a mid-season trade, but with Calderon hitting unrestricted free agency, it might be time to turn to Plan B.
And that backup plan, according to CBSSports’ Ken Berg:
Another possible landing spot for Jeremy Lin is Detroit, source says. Rockets would acquire Jose Calderon in sign-and-trade in such a...
Tyreke Evans has a four-year, $44 million offer on the table from the New Orleans Pelicans.
Evans could accept the offer from the Pelicans as early as Wednesday if the Sacramento Kings don't beat it.
The Kings have expressed a willingness to give Evans a contract with an annual average in the $9 million range.
Evans is a restricted free agent, giving the Kings the ability to...
Looking for a “change of scenery,” Kings’ RFA Tyreke Evans reportedly hopes to land with the New Orleans Pelicans who have extended a four-year, $44+ million offer. However, if he signs the offer, the Kings will still have the chance to match.

And so it begins. Y! Sources: Detroit meeting with free agent Josh Smith at 12:01 EST, planning to make substantial offer. http://t.co/iPlHXBnOAE — Adrian Wojnarowski (@WojYahooNBA) July 1, 2013
The Sacramento Kings could very well let guard Tyreke Evans leave to join the New Orleans Pelicans, and in his place they’re going hard after free agent small forward Andre Iguodala. Late Tuesday night the Kings offered Iguodala a four-year, $56 million deal and are now considered the front-runners for the 29-year-old.
Iguodala has garnered interest from all over the NBA since...
The Pistons have reportedly focused their free-agent efforts on one star.
Detroit is planning to make a "substantial" offer to forward Josh Smith, according to Yahoo! Sports. The deal will reportedly be for four years.
Smith, who has spent his first nine years in the league with the Atlanta Hawks, averaged 17.5 points, 8.4 rebounds and 4.2 assists last season.
The Detroit Pistons and Will Bynum have mutual interest to complete a new contract.
Bynum has said the hiring of Mo Cheeks makes it more likely that he will return to the Pistons.
Bynum averaged almost 10 points last season.
The Sacramento Kings have withdrawn their four-year, $56 million offer to free-agent guard/forward Andre Iguodala, according to Yahoo! Sports and USA Today.
The Kings reportedly wanted an answer by Tuesday night from Iguodala, who wasn't ready to give one, Yahoo! Sports reports.
As a result, Iguodala could re-sign with the Denver Nuggets, who offered him a five-year extension...
The Detroit Pistons enter the offseason with money to spend and a solid young core in big men Andre Drummond and Greg Monroe. Detroit is seeking to add to this foundation, as the team has already been tied to free agents Josh Smith and Andre Iguodala. Beyond free agents, the Pistons are also looking into trades involving Boston Celtics point guard Rajon Rondo and Toronto Raptors...
Add Sacramento guard Tyreke Evans to the list of free agents the Detroit Pistons may be interested in this offseason. The 23-year-old, high-scoring Evans is a restricted free agent, so the Kings would have seven days to match any offer extended by the Pistons or another team.
Restricted free agent Tyreke Evans (Kings) expected to meet with the Detroit Pistons & Kings today in...
You rarely hear about players being motivated AFTER the start of free agency but that’s what’s happening with Denver Nuggets free agent, Andre Iguodala. Tuesday it was reported that the Sacramento Kings offered Iguodala a four-year, $56 million deal. While Iggy was allegedly taking some time to consider the offer- teams can’t officially sign players until July 10th- it was...
New Raptors general manager, Masai Ujiri, is not wasting any time. Ujiri rid the team of Andre Bargnani’s contract worth $22.5 million over the next two years in a trade with the Knicks earlier this week and is now presented with the possibility to dispose of another big contract as the Pistons have offered the expiring contracts of point guard, Rodney Stuckey, and forward, Charlie...
The Detroit Pistons met with Josh Smith at 12:01 AM EST on Monday and intend to make a substantial four-year offer.
The Atlanta Hawks have expressed more interest in working with Smith on a sign-and-trade than to re-sign him.
Smith is the Pistons' top priority in free agency, along with re-signing Jose Calderon.
The Pistons hope to make a preemptive strike on Smith knowing that...
Rudy Gay appears to have move to the top of the Detroit Pistons’ most-wanted list. Brian Windhorst of ESPN.com reported that the Pistons offered the Toronto Raptors Charlie Villanueva and Rodney Stuckey, both of whom have expiring contracts, for Gay. The 26-year-old Gay carries a max contract that will pay him nearly $18 million next season and $19.3 million in 2014-15.
Detroit Pistons make offer to Toronto Raptors of F Charlie Villanueva and G Rodney Stuckey for F Rudy Gay. As much as a steal as this would be for the Pistons , it makes a ton of sense for Toronto as well. New GM Masai Ujiri is trying to blow that team up and [...]
