The New York Knicks (6-0) beat the San Antonio Spurs (7-2) 104-100, tonight at the AT&T Center from San Antonio, TX. Raymond Felton and Jason Kidd bring the Knicks back in the game to win it after traling by 12 points with six mintues to go in the 4th quarter. Both guys made big buckets, play tough defense and brought energy to the team on the night where Carmelo Anthony got shutdown on offense by the Spurs defense. Back then, if the Knicks were trailing by 12 points with six minutes in the game. They lose, but there is a different feel about this team and I like what they have on this team and it is a lot of veteran expierence. Game Stats: Raymond Felton scored 25 points, made 7 assists and grabbed 3 rebounds. Jason Kidd brings a lot of presence to this team. Anyway he dropped 14 points with making 4 three pointers, made 3 blocks, 2 assists and 2 rebounds. Carmelo Anthony struggled on offense as he scored 9 points, grabbed 12 rebounds and had 3 assists. J.R. Smith scored 17 points, grabbed 5 rebounds and made 2 assists off the bench. Tyson Chandler made a double-bouble by getting 13 points and 11 rebounds. The New York Knicks will play the Memphis Grizzlies tomorrow night in the FedEx Forum at 9:30 pm on ESPN and MSG. The Brooklyn Nets (5-2) beat the Boston Celtics (5-4) 102-97, tonight at the Barclays Center from Brooklyn, NY. The Nets are on the right track to the start the season and owner Mikhail Prokhorov couldn't be more prouder of his ballclub. His team will make the playoffs when it is all set and done and don't be shocked if they clinch the 4th or 5th seed in the Eastern conference. Game Stats: Deron Williams scored 24 points, made 8 assists and grabbed 3 rebounds. Brook Lopez again playing like a true center by scoring 24 points, grabbed 6 rebounds and blocked 4 shots. Joe Johnson scored 19 points, grabbed 8 rebounds, made 4 assists and had 2 steals. Kris Humphries drew a double-double by getting 10 points and 13 rebounds. The Brooklyn Nets will play the Sacramento Kings Sunday night in the Sleep Train Arena at 6:00 pm on YES.
