Just after nearly three months before passing his 30,000th Career points, Kobe Bryant surpassed the 31,000th point mark in a match with the Dallas Mavericks, after scoring 38 Points (14 in the 4th Quarter), it was an all-around great night for the Black Mamba, who also grabbed 12 rebounds and 7 assists in their 103-99 win over the Mavericks on Sunday in Dallas. Kobe Bryant seemed to struggle with his 3-Point shot during the past few games, hitting on only 2 out of 39 shots, before hitting 4 out of 5 against the Mavericks on Sunday. In this game Kobe Bryant turned back the clock and made turned the “No” Shots to YES ! YES ! YES Shots. Kobe was on fire! After the game, about a half an hour later, Kobe Bryant tweeted “Amnesty THAT”. Amnesty THAT — Kobe Bryant (@kobebryant) February 24, 2013 A clear jab at Mavericks owner, Mark Cuban, who recently asked the Lakers if they should amnesty Kobe Bryant this coming off-season. Cuban replied via Twitter: “Nice to know there is a least one team and their players, outside of the Mavs, that listen to everything I say.” Nice to know there is a least one team and theirplayers, outside of the Mavs, that listen to everything I say. — Mark Cuban (@mcuban) February 24, 2013 Kobe is the 5th NBA Player to hit the 31,000 point milestone, alongside with Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Karl Malone, Michael Jordan and Wilt Chamberlain. Kobe only needs less than 500 points to surpass Wilt Chamberlain (31,419) and more than 1000 points to surpass Michael Jordan (32,292). If Kobe Bryant can keep up his scoring barrage like this, can he surpass Wilt Chamberlain on the All Time Scoring List? The biggest question is how long can Kobe Bryant continue his scoring barrage and carry the Lakers to the most important stat… Wins!
