The Los Angeles Lakers visited the Great Wall of China earlier today and even there they couldn’t come away injury free. On his way back down the wall, while traveling via toboggan, Shawne Williams crashed into Chris Kaman and crushed the center’s finger, according to the Los Angeles Times:

Kobe Bryant has made progress in his return from a torn Achillies and intended to test himself in the Los Angeles Lakers' practice in Beijing.
Bryant believes he would likely be able to make his return right now if it were the playoffs.
"If today was a playoff or NBA Finals, could I play? Probably," Bryant said. "I'd get out there and do something."
With the Los Angeles Lakers overseas in Beijing, China to play the Golden State Warriors, it gave star guard Kobe Bryant a chance to attend a special Hublot watch event in his honor.

Earlier today the Los Angeles Lakers visited the Great Wall of China, and although the biggest news of the day was Chris Kaman’s finger injury as a result of tobogganing down the wall, the rest of the team got up to a lot of fun too.
