Shaquille O’Neal congratulated Kobe Bryant on Twitter for passing him on the NBA all-time scoring list.  Kobe and Shaq were teammates and won three championships together with the Los Angeles Lakers.

Kobe would end up scoring 28 points in a loss against the Philadelphia 76ers.  Kobe now moves into the 5th slot on the all-time scoring list with 28,601 points.  Fourth on that list, if Kobe has any inclination on moving up, is Wilt Chamberlain with 31,419.  The all-time scoring leader is Kareem Abdul-Jabbar with 38,387.
