Kobe Bryant (seen above with his best poker face) received an official twitter invite to play in the 2013 World Series of Poker, but turned them down. It was actually a pretty serious thing – Jerry Buss was a huge poker fan, and the invitation was in his honor. He had to decline due to doctor imposed travel restrictions. Is it me, or is Kobe actually likeable on twitter now? No, I didn’t believe it either. Kobe Settles Auction Case Stars Read Mean Tweets on Kimmel

The auction of Kobe Bryant memorabilia will move forward, as Bryant has reached a settlement with the auction house that was given the items by Bryant's mother. According to ABC News, Ken Goldin, owner of Goldin Auctions in New Jersey, announced on Monday that the two sides have reached a settlement, which will allow the items to go up for sale online from June 17 to July 19...

Kobe Bryant's parents apologize for selling his stuff

Recently Kobe Bryant's mother gave a lot of his old memorabilia to an auction house in New Jersey for them to sell.  When Kobe learned of this he filed a lawsuit against the company, Goldin Auctions.  Goldin then filed a counter suit, claiming that Kobe's mom was the owner of the items.  In doing so they also revealed that they'd given Bryant's parents a $450,000...

Kobe Bryant: Will he be Immortalized Wearing No.8 or No.24 When the Time Comes?

Number 24 or number 8? Eventually this is a question that will face the Lakers’ front office. You see, Kobe Bryant has played for only one team, but with two different numbers on his jersey. Where as Michael Jordan wore two numbers during his career, No. 23 as he reigned as king of the league during the Chicago Bulls dynasty and up to his first retirement, and No. 45 upon his several...

Kobe meets his match — a 2-year-old

Kobe Bryant has one-upped Shaq yet again. And this time, he used a 2-year-old to do it. Earlier this month, Shaquille O'Neal lost a free-throw shooting contest to Titus Ashby on the Jimmy Kimmel Show. Titus, a YouTube sensation, took down The Big Bricklayer, 8-0. So on Sunday night's airing of the show, the Black Mamba, still nursing an Achilles injury that ended his season...

World Series of Poker invites Kobe Bryant to play, Kobe declines

With the passing of Lakers owner Jerry Buss, there will be one spot open at this year’s World Series of Poker since Buss was an avid player in one of the biggest poker tournaments in the world. The WSOP Twitter page recently sent out in an invite to Kobe Bryant to play in Buss honor: Poker misses Dr. Buss. Game. Class. We invite @kobebryant to play in tribute. #sharksvsmamba twitter...

Kobe Bryant Takes on 2-Year-Old ‘Trick Shot Titus’ in Shooting Competition With Jimmy Kimmel (Video)

Kobe Bryant is rehabbing some serious Achilles tendon surgery this offseason, but that didn’t stop him from having a little fun with Jimmy Kimmel. The former NBA MVP appeared on a playoff edition of Jimmy Kimmel Live! to try and do what former teammate Shaquille O’Neal could not — beat 2-year-old YouTube sensation Titus Ashby in a shooting contest. Ashby, famously known...

Kobe Takes on 2-Year-old Titus Ashby in Shooting Competition (Video)

Los Angeles Lakers guard Kobe Bryant appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live, to take on 2-year-old YouTube sensation Titus Ashby, in a shooting competition after Shaq couldn’t get the job done. I really enjoy the new fun-loving Kobe, I hope he’s here to stay. Check out “Clash of the Titus” here: H/T to Pro Basketball Talk for the video.

Kobe and Kimmel to talk for charity in LA

Kobe Bryant will sit down with late night host Jimmy Kimmel for a conversation at the Nokia Theatre on Aug. 15 to raise money toward eliminating homelessness in the Los Angeles area. NBA Legends Rejecting the Rock. 5 Sweet Block Videos.

After LeBron James’ epic block last night I wanted to compile a few videos showing NBA legends doing their best attempts at shot blocking. Do any of these videos compare to what LeBron was able to do last night? Lets take time of game and importance of the game out of the equatuion and just focus on the player and the block itself. Happy viewing Baconators. Michael Jordan Sorry...

Metta World Peace Falls To Two-Year Old ‘Trick Shot Titus’

Forget the Spurs or the Heat, this NBA Finals has been all about two-year old Internet phenom Trick Shot Titus Ashby taking on NBA stars on Jimmy Kimmel Live. Before Game 1, the toddler dominated Shaquille O’Neal in a shooting contest, then tied Kobe Bryant before Game 2. Game 4′s competition proved to be a tough test for Titus, as he was forced to go up against Lakers’ nutjob...

Metta World Peace loses to 2-year-old Titus Ashby in shooting contest

Previously on That NBA Lottery Pick, we featured a couple of clips from ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel Gametime” of 2-year-old Titus Ashby beating Lakers legends Kobe Bryant and Shaquille O’Neal in shooting contests. This time around, Lakers forward Metta World Peace got a chance to take on Titus and sadly for him, he wasn’t able to take down the young sharp-shooter:

LeBron James: “I’ve Got to Be Better”

A player’s greatest strength can also be his greatest weakness. The things that we love about Kobe Bryant (he’s drive, passion, killer mentality on the court) are the same things that get him in trouble. He thinks he can do it all and at times it is a detriment to this team. James is the opposite, his DNA tells to make the right play all the time, there isn’t a selfish basketball...

Click on the photo to read more about the 2013 NBA Mock Draft I haven’t seen enough of Nerlens Noel to believe he will have an impact in the NBA, but there certainly seems to be a buzz around him. The Lakers Heel

It’s safe to say that I don’t cheer for anyone to get hurt. This idea has turned into a comical moment for me and my friends by one of us saying to the other, with a huge grin on our face, that “we NEVER like to see anyone get hurt, but…” Photo Credit: AP Photo/Mark J. Terrill So you could only imagine how I feel about the man who gets every call in the book, yet it...
