via L.A. Times So far this pre-season, Jordan Farmar has only played in one game due to a calf injury – the team’s opening contest against the Golden State Warriors at the beginning of the month. Wesley Johnson hasn’t done much better, appearing on only one full game and a part of another before hurting his foot. Now, at last, both Farmar and Johnson are good to go Friday in Shanghai, according to Lakers reporter Mike Trudell: LAL have 15 players available (all but Kobe) to play in Shanghai, including Jordan Farmar (calf strain) and Wesley Johnson (foot strain).— Mike Trudell (@LakersReporter) October 17, 2013 Farmar (calf) hasn’t played in a game since the preseason opener and Johnson (foot) game 2. Both have been cautious, but now ready to roll.— Mike Trudell (@LakersReporter) October 17, 2013 Farmar was impressive in his only appearance with the Lakers so far this year; he had 12 points, dished out 7 assists, grabbed 3 rebounds and snatched 3 steals in just 28 minutes of play. On the other hand, Johnson has struggled in his limited time during pre-season so far: in the team’s first game he recorded just 2 points in 21 minutes. In his second game the following night, Johnson once again scored just 2 points but only played for 8 minutes after suffering the foot injury. The Lakers will face the Warriors once again at 4:30 am PST on Friday morning before heading back to the Los Angeles to finish up the pre-season and prepare for opening night on October 29. .bottom-of-post-responsive { width: 300px; height: 250px; } @media(min-width: 500px) { .bottom-of-post-responsive { width: 300px; height: 250px; } } @media(min-width: 800px) { .bottom-of-post-responsive { width: 336px; height: 280px; } }
