Pietrus is a great wing guy, shoots a deadly three and brings much energy off the bench.
But he’s still without a team. Partially because he refuses to play for the league minimum and that’s a problem in today’s game where all the dollars are tied up with big names. Word is though that the Lakers are liking Pietrus, along with Raja Bell. But Bell needs to be bought out first before the Lakers can touch him.
Perhaps playing for a championship contender will convince Pietrus to play for the minimum?

In an article by NBC Los Angeles, the Los Angeles Lakers are looking to fix their not-so-consistent bench. Only as of late has the bench stepped up, but still lacks in different aspects. Antawn Jamison seems to have found a rhythm and so has Jordan Hill with his energy and activity, but the rest of the bench seems to be confused.
