Tweet   Among the more talked about topics this NBA season has been when Kobe Bryant will return from the Achilles injury he suffered in April. With Bryant being one of the league’s biggest stars, and the Lakers one of its premier franchises, the coverage was to be expected.   We now have an answer.     The Lakers have been able to stay afloat without their star, heading into the weekend with a 9-9 record. Unfortunately, playoff places in the the Western Conference will be tougher to come by than in the east.
