MIAMI If anybody has an idea, please drop it in the Milwaukee Bucks suggestion box.
With perhaps just a week left in his tenure as Bucks coach, Jim Boylan is looking for any way he can find to slow down LeBron James at least a little. After watching the Miami Heat star have a near triple-double Sunday night at AmericanAirlines Arena, all Boylan could do was throw his hands up.
When you have a game like that, what can you do? Boylan said after his Bucks fell 110-87 in Game 1 of their Eastern Conference first-round series. I thought Luc (Mbah a Moute) battled him well. I thought Marquis (Daniels) battled him, tried to make him as uncomfortable as possible. The guys the best player in the world right now. So what can you do? You just tip your hat to him.
At least Boylan can take solace in knowing James never had shot a better percentage from the field in 115 previous playoff games. He was 9 of 11 for 81.8 percent while having a near triple-double with 27 points, 10 rebounds and eig...
BEST OF MAXIM
The Heat crushed the Bucks in tonight’s playoff game 110-87. LeBron James had a monster game, going 9-11 from the field en route to a dominating 27 point performance. The Bucks hung around for a bit, but when it was time to put the game away, the Heat did so with ease.

King James runs a tight ship.
LeBron James, he of the remarkable regular season and the likely NBA MVP, is firing on all cylinders right now.
And not just during games. The Heat star is also lighting it up in practice, beating teammates in shooting contests, as evidenced by this video from Joseph Goodman of The Miami Herald.
James bested teammates Ray Allen -- the most prolific...
Thanks to the NBA dress code for postgame interviews, certain players have made in their duty to creatively show off their unique style of fashion.
After Miami’s victory over the Milwaukee Bucks in game one of their first round series, LeBron James decided to don this red shirt that he find have found at the bargain bin:
LeBron James postgame attire is bizarre [SB Nation]
Sometimes you can't help but look at what some of these guys are wearing and go "what the f***?!?!"
Like on Sunday when Miami Heat superstar LeBron James wore this awesome sweater while talking to the media after Sunday's dismantling of the Milwaukee Bucks, 110-87.
Then again, when you go 9-11 from the court, 8-11 from the free throw, and fall two assist...
Kevin Durant, who is on the cover of this week’s Sports Illustrated, revealed that he often checks good friend LeBron James’ box score after games for motivation and tips to raise his own game.
According to SI.com:
“I don’t watch a lot of other basketball away from the gym,” Durant says. “But I do look at LeBron’s box score. I want to see how many points, rebounds and...
LeBron James got the 2013 NBA Playoffs going in the right direction for the Miami Heat with this massive dunk against the Milwaukee Bucks.
LeBron James knows that at this point in his career, he is going to be measured by Championships. Even when he does something extraordinary (which is often), it will all be for naught if he is unable to capture a second ring for himself with the Miami Heat. The all-time greats are held to a different standard. [...]
As the Miami Heat set to defend their NBA title, LeBron James got an opportunity to show off his aerial exploits in the first half of the Heat’s game one against the Milwaukee Bucks.
After a turnover by Bucks guard Monta Ellis, the Heat shifted into fastbreak mode and LeBron threw down a monster left-handed dunk much to the joy of the crowd at American Airlines Arena:
The Miami Heat’s LeBron James sent a clear message to Brandon Jennings on Sunday.
His mouth wrote a check his team may not be in the position to cash.
Jennings angered the Eastern Conference favorites by stating that the Bucks will bounce them out of the NBA playoffs in the first round in six games.
The end result?
A 110-87 Game 1 beat down.
Jennings did his part by chipping...
LeBron James typically cannot sleep much before the first game of a postseason. Even after 10 years in the league, three MVP awards and a championship, Game 1 still kicks his anxiety level into high gear.
''Like the night before Christmas,'' James said.
Makes sense, since the Miami Heat have been waiting about a year for this.
The eight preseason outings, the 82...
To put into context the challenge any team faces in a seven-game series, just take a gander at Miami's regular season results. The Heat lost just four times in their last 41 games dating back to Jan. 27 - with one of those losses coming without LeBron James and Dwyane Wade.
Any team that plans on knocking out the defending NBA champions must find a way to beat them four times...
So many things went the way the Milwaukee Bucks wanted. LeBron James matched his playoff-low for shots in a game, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh were held in relative check and the Miami Heat turned the ball over far more than usual.
And none of it really mattered.
Game 1 was a Heat blowout, as probably everyone outside of Milwaukee would have expected.
James scored 27 points on 9...
Dwyane Wade scored 21 points, LeBron James finished with 19 and
the Miami Heat took off in the fourth quarter to pull away and beat
the Milwaukee Bucks 98-86 in Game 2 of the teams' Eastern
Conference first-round series on Tuesday night.
