LeBron James gave a nice reward to the fan who ran onto the court during the Miami Heat-Cleveland Cavaliers game Wednesday night by following the youngster on Twitter.
The fan, later identified as James Blair, ran onto the court during the fourth quarter of Miami’s huge comeback. He was wearing a T-shirt that said, “We miss you” on the front, and “2014 come back,” on the back, which was his way of telling James to return to Cleveland.
After realizing that the fan was one of his biggest fans, James gave the kid a pat on the head before he was escorted off the court at Quicken Loans Arenas. LeBron gave the fan an even better gift by following him over Twitter Thursday.
Blair, whose Twitter following has exploded to over 7,000, had been hustling LeBron for a follow. James finally responded:
“@jamesblair06: @kingjames appreciate you showing love when I came on floor last night follow back homie!!!! #TeamLeBron“(Yesir! Brave guy)

The King returned to the court where it all started in his NBA career. LeBron James returned to the Quicken Loans arena to play his former NBA team the Cleveland Cavaliers in a game the Heat almost lost. It started out with a leaking scoreboard that would delay the game for 40 minutes.
It ended with a fan charging onto the basketball court wearing a t-shirt that made LeBron the offer...
LeBron James has taken it to Boston's Jason Terry again.
Miami's superstar said Wednesday that he ranks his monster dunk over Terry on Monday night as one of his best, and that it's one of his favorites because of his history with the talkative Celtics guard. LeBron James is a pretty big fan of his dunk over Jason Terry on Monday night.
The monster alley-oop, which was a big moment in the Heat’s eventual win over the Celtics, has been replayed over and over and over in the last couple of days.
James has finally seen it for himself, and he likes what he sees. Doing it against Terry makes it even better, apparently.

It would have been poetic if the lowly Cleveland Cavaliers had been able to beat LeBron James and the Heat in Cleveland to stop Miami's winning streak at 23--would have been.
At one time down by 27 points, the Heat overcame their largest deficit of the season to go on to win 98-95.
For a time it looked like they were going to be able to do just that after a 23-3 run...
Russ Smith summoned his inner LeBron James in the first half of the Louisville vs Colorado State game, and The King noticed.
Another game, another double-digit rally for the Miami Heat.
And most importantly, another win.
LeBron James scored 29 points, Dwyane Wade added 19 and the Heat extended their winning streak to 25 games by pulling away in the second half and beating the Detroit Pistons 103-89 on Friday night.
Shane Battier and Mario Chalmers scored 11 apiece for Miami, which shook off yet another...
