PLAYERS: LeBron James
TEAMS: Miami Heat

Miami Heat superstar LeBron James was kind enough to greet rapper Jay-Z and his wife Beyonce during a play stoppage in the second quarter of Monday night's Game 4 of their NBA Eastern Conference playoff series in Brooklyn. After the timeout, LeBron promptly stole a Nets pass, took it down the court and threw down a slam dunk.Jay-Z is no longer a minority owner of the Nets, but has obviously kept his front row seats at the Barclays Center. It was interesting to see Jay-Z and Beyonce in public given the breaking story of a recent incident where Jay-Z was allegedly physically attacked in an elevator by Beyonce's sister Solange. As for LeBron, he carried the Heat to a 102-96 victory over the Nets by leading the team with 49 points. The Heat now have a 3-1 lead in the series and look to close it out at home on Wednesday night.H/T TNLP. This post appeared first on Holdout Sports. Follow us on Twitter @HoldoutSports.

LeBron James Misses Free Throw at End of Game, Finishes with 49 Points

LeBron James is the ultimate competitor, so naturally, he was disappointed after missing a free throw with 1.1 seconds left on Monday night which would’ve given him 50 points. The Heat still won the game 102-96, though, and are now up 3-1 on the Nets in the Eastern Conference Semifinals. LeBron James: Players want Clippers kept away from Sterling family

NEW YORK -- LeBron James understands it will take time, but he wants Donald Sterling out of the NBA. And he said Sunday that NBA players believe nobody in Sterling's family should be able to own the Los Angeles Clippers if he's gone. Sterling has been banned for life for making racist comments and Commissioner Adam Silver has urged owners to force Sterling to sell the franchise...

LeBron scores 49, Bosh buries Nets

LeBron James had 49 points. Let us just get that out of the way right now. He was brilliant, amazing, incredible, unstoppable and everything else that comes with James. OK, maybe that does not describe a 49-point, 16-for-24 shooting, 14-for-19 free throw performance. That is a 75.7 percent true shooting percentage. Something that is just insane. James battled the Nets in a game of...

LeBron James Doesn’t Want Anybody In Sterling Family Owning The Clippers

NBA players have made it clear that Donald Sterling and his family are no longer welcomed.  A day after a report surfaced, making it clear that Clippers players would never play for anybody named Sterling again, LeBron James dropped the hammer down in one unmerciful swoop. James shared some of those thoughts with Miami Herald writer Joseph Goodman: LeBron on Donald Sterling: ...

LeBron James says he doesn’t care that Paul Pierce asked to guard him

LeBron James and Paul Pierce have had an ongoing rivalry since the time that LeBron’s team arrived as a contender in the East. When Pierce was in Boston, LeBron’s teams always were played tough by the Celtics. Now, Pierce is a Brooklyn Net and in the current series against the Miami Heat Pierce has asked to guard LeBron. Check out James’s response when asked to comment of Pierce’s...

LeBron James downplays talk of him leading boycott because of Sterling

Miami Heat star LeBron James says the players have nothing to worry about in regards to the Donald Sterling situation, given the actions from NBA commissioner Adam Silver.

Pierce thinks Lebron tried to lure Doc Rivers away from Boston

SI’s Chris Mannix has some interesting facts/theories into why Paul Pierce doesn’t like LeBron James: Much was made of Paul Pierce’s request to defend James before Game 2, and make no mistake, James was keenly aware of it. There is no love lost between Pierce and James, bitter rivals who have done this dance before. Pierce, the Celtic, was responsible for ousting James from...

Roger Mason Jr. on LeBron James: "He ain't playing if Sterling is still an owner."

Absolute worst case scenario for the NBA right here. Fans of the Boston Celtics just went through a rebuild this season and it was a struggle, but at least there was compelling basketball to watch outside of New England. If LeBron makes good on this threat multiply that by 30 teams because the entire league will essentially enter rebuilding mode aka The Ice Age. If LeBron walked...

VIDEO: LeBron James scorches Nets for 49 points in Game 4

Watch highlights from the Miami Heat's Game 4 victory over the Brooklyn Nets in the Eastern Conference semifinals.

Kneel Before LeBron James

There was a really telling moment towards the end of Monday’s Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Semi Finals. By that point, only one LeBronette (Dwyane Wade) had scored in double figures. Brooklyn had controlled most of the fourth quarter. Even after Miami regained the lead, Paul Pierce’s gravity-defying three-point play had pretty definitively swung the game’s momentum.  ...
