Fans of the Los Angeles Lakers received some disappointing news before the start of Lakers training camp. It’s been reported that LeBron James will miss the start due to nerve irritation in his glute.

Lakers head coach JJ Redick spoke about LeBron’s injury, describing it as a slower ramp-up for LeBron, leading to playing on opening night.

“It’s probably a little bit longer of a ramp-up leading up to opening night for him,” Redick said. “In year 23, uncharted territory here.”

LeBron is 40 years old and getting ready to play in his 23rd season. The Lakers would be wise to ease him into the season.

As for Lakers fans, do not worry. LeBron’s injury doesn’t seem serious, as he was just on Kai Cenat’s stream, dancing and his glute seemed fine.
