Found April 03, 2012 on Sports Junkie Online:
For his first season and a half in the NBA, Luke Babbitt struggled to find the court for the Trail Blazers, seeing more court time in the NBDL than with Portland. Even when he did get playing time, Babbitt seemed hesitant to shoot the ball, and was largely thinking instead of reacting when on the court. Many, including myself, had doubts about his long-term fit in the league, and wondered if he could ever see consistent playing time for the Blazers. It's not as if Luke Babbitt didn't have talent. In 17 games with team D-League affiliate Idaho, Babbitt averaged 20.2 points and 7.6 rebounds in 30.1 minutes per night. He shot 50.0% from the field and 40.7% from three, numbers similar to his time in college with Nevada, and one of the reasons why he was selected with the 16th overall pick in the 2010 draft.Babbitt started to receive consistent playing time for the Blazers shortly after the All-Star break. The team's seven game road trip would signify the end of the current in...

Blazer's dunk waived off after bouncing off head

Last night, Portland Trail Blazers forward Nicolas Batum provided us with the blooper of the night as he pulled off one of the rare feats in basketball. In the second quarter, Batum appeared to have an uncontested dunk but somehow dunked the ball off his own head and the basket was waived off due to interference:

Blazers have two great dunks in the last 7 days

Some great action from the Timberwolves vs. Portland Trail Blazers game last night. Forward Nicolas Batum provided us with the blooper of the night as he pulled off one of the best dunks in the NBA this year. That wasn't allowed. LOL Also this week possibly one of the best dunks of the year in the NBA. J.J. Hickson's amazing dunk over Jordan vs Clippers. WOW

JJ Hickson Puts DeAndre Jordan On A Poster

Since the Trail Blazers picked up J.J. Hickson on Waivers last month he’s been on a hot streak with over 15 points and six rebounds per game while shooting over 65% from the field. Apparently DeAndre Jordan from the Clippers wasn’t impressed by those numbers so J.J. decided to deliver something a little more personal.     var conf_38368 = { APIKey: '2_N1YlfjHIEAtyRAK3CAYRE5a1aBu...

Blazers should consider playing Aldridge at center next season

For all the on-court struggles and off-court drama, LaMarcus Aldridge is undoubtedly the Portland Trail Blazers best player.
