New York Knicks forward Metta World Peace scared a boy in the front row of Madison Square Garden half to death by diving over him for a loose ball heading out of bounds during Friday night's NBA preseason game against Toronto.
The boy appeared to be uninjured - physically. However, there is some speculation the kid may need some therapy to recover from getting a face full...
Everyone young boy thinks he wants to sit courtside at Madison Square Garden for a Knicks game.
That is, until Metta World Peace comes hurtling at him -- or hurdling at him -- like a runaway truck.
That kid will be lucky if he can watch another game from behind the couch at home.
As we all know, you don't have to be sitting courtside to have a close encounter with the Player...
This young boy at the Knicks preseason game Friday night got more than he bargained for when Metta World Peace took him out while diving for a loose ball in the stands. His face is priceless.

Before we go further, just a reminder: this was a preseason game. Not the playoffs, not a meaningful regular season game, and not even just a regular regular season game. But preseason. That being said, let’s review Friday night’s shenanigans at Madison Square Garden.
First, Metta World Peace trucked a small child sitting on the baseline:
Later, J.R. Smith nailed a pull-up buzzer...
If there is one thing that Metta World Peace will never be accused of it's not going all out, all the time. Here it is a preseason game, but the man is going all out for a ball going out of bounds as if he had to in order to keep the team alive in Game 7 of the NBA Finals.
In the process he gave a young fan an up close and personal view of--well, himself.
Nothing Metta World Peace does anymore surprises me.
That’s why when I found out this news all I could do was laugh. All jokes aside, I could see Metta being a pretty good actor.
The movie hits theatres November 15th and features Dustin Diamond aka “Screech”, Eve and Marc Maron.
NBA fans sit in the courtside seats so they can get close to the action. And sometimes you get more than you bargained for — as this Justin Bieber lookalike found out Friday night at Madison Square Garden.
It may have only been the Knicks last pre-season game but that didn't stop Metta World Peace from flying into the seats after a loose ball like it was the playoffs. And...
