MMA met the NBA Friday night during the Clippers' crucial Game 6 in Memphis. With the Grizzlies up 74-59 after going on a 13-2 run in the third quarter, frustration hit a high when Blake Griffin and Zach Randolph locked arms and wrestled each other to the ground. Randolph went on to press his arm against Griffin's neck, prompting Clippers coach Vinny Del Negro and Grizzlies coach Lionel Hollins to rush to the court to help cool the wrestling match. Officials called a double foul and Zach Randolph was issued a technical after the two locked arms and wrestled each other down to the ground. See some of the reaction below: Oh oh. Randolph and Griffin were actually going at it on the floor. Michael Martinez (@ByMMartinez) May 4, 2013 Zach Randolph went for the takedown and the pin on Blake Griffin. Michael Martinez (@ByMMartinez) May 4, 2013 Zach literally choked Griffin there. Hands around his neck. IM STUNNED he's not ejected Ramona Shelburne (@ramonashelburne) May 4, 2013 Ive never seen anything like that in a basketball game. Like what you pull in NFL pile. Jaime Maggio (@jaimemaggio) May 4, 2013 Was ZBo's chokehold not evident on TV? I'm 10 feet away. It was plain as day. Hands around his neck. When league office reviews it... Ramona Shelburne (@ramonashelburne) May 4, 2013 To everybody tweeting me that "Griffin elbowed Z-Bo first":elbows happen on every play.Since when is choking equal to elbowing? John Ireland (@LAIreland) May 4, 2013 For Griffin and Randolph, these bouts are nothing new. Take a look back at some of their previous scuffles:
