We posted a couple of Summer League updates so far this offseason. We posted a few names that surfaced as participants on the Celtics entry and we also posted the schedule and the teams that would be joining the Celtics in Orlando. The Celtics signed 3 players from China at the end of last season and the team has an option for all 3 for this season and we may see Shavlik Randolph, Terrence Williams and DJ White in Summer League as the Celtics determine which, if any will return for the 2013-14 season. In addition, there have been a couple other players reported to be joining the Celtics in Orlando. According to David Pick, ex-Detroit Mercy PF-C Eli Holman, who registers double-double stats in Israel and former NC-State swingman Courtney Fells, now competing in Israeli playoffs will both be joining the Celtics Summer League entry in Orlando. According to ESPNBoston, former Knicks center Jerome Jordan will be playing for the Celtics in the Orlando Summer League. He will also join the Knicks on their entry in the Vegas Summer League, where the Celtics will not be participating this year. Jordan, a 7 footer, was reportedly on the Celtics' radar last season when they were looking to bring in a big man down the stretch. Shavlik Randolph, who was tearing up the Chinese League with gaudy statistics (32.0 points, 14.6 rebounds, 1.4 assists, 1.7 steals and 1.0 blocks) got the nod in the end. The 26-year-old Jordan, who was an NBA D-League All-Star last season, averaged 12.4 points and 7.6 rebounds over 29.8 minutes per game for the Reno Bighorns and Los Angeles Defenders.
