From Los That Sports Blog:

The New Orleans Hornets were in New York Tuesday for a meeting with the Brooklyn Nets, which marked their only appearance in Barclays Center this season. More importantly, it meant Nets center Brook Lopez would be playing host to his twin brother, and Hornets center, Robin.

During the third quarter Brook was a bit less than hospitable when he took a pass from Deron Williams and soared past his brother for an emphatic finish.

I would imagine Robin won’t be allowed to forget that anytime soon.

The Nets went on to win the game 108-98. Brook finished with 26 points (10-15 FG), five rebounds, and three blocked shots. Robin scored 15 (6-10 FG) with eight rebounds and one block.

Brook Lopez Dunks All Over His Brother

The Brooklyn Nets took on the New Orleans Hornets Tuesday night and there was a disturbing case of brother on brother crime which occurred. Brook Lopez didn’t hold back when he saw his brother blocking the rim during the third quarter and took the opportunity to create a poster of Robin to show off to the rest of the family. The result was near catastrophic, and we would love...

Video: Brooklyn Nets Brook Lopez humiliates his brother Robin Lopez

The Brooklyn Nets Brook Lopez proved that twin brothers often fight with a little bit more intensity than brothers that are separated by a year or more.  Brook’s Nets took on Robin’s Suns on Tuesday and when Nets point guard Deron Williams dished the rock to Brook he had no problem dunking all over his brother in front of an arena full of fans. Talk about a conversation piece...

Brook Lopez dunks over twin brother Robin

There may not have been some big, gangly, awkward fights in the Lopez household when twin NBA centers Brook and Robin were growing up. Brook, now with the Nets, has averaged 17.7 points and seven rebounds whereas Robin has averaged 6.9 points and 3.7 boards.  Brook also had the upper hand in this slam in which brother Robin was slow to react to his brother crashing down on him....

Brook Lopez Let's His Brother Have It With Monster Dunk

The next time the Lopez clan gets together you know this play is going to come up. Tuesday night the Brooklyn Nets and New Orleans Hornets had a game. Each has one of the Lopez twins; Brook plays for Brooklyn and Robin for New Orleans. During the third quarter Brook absolutely destroyed his brother with a powerful jam. To add insult to injury, Robin can't even say ...

Brook Lopez Posterizing Dunk Over Twin Brother Robin (Video)

One can only imagine the thrill of having a twin sibling and you both achieve the ultimate success in your trade or sport you play. That thrill has to double in size when you are able to posterize your twin with a nasty dunk during a NBA game.  That is exactly the thrill Brook Lopez got when he dunked on brother Robin last night during the Brooklyn Nets win over the New Orleans...

Brook Lopez dunks on Robin Lopez rather hard (Video)

As we go into the history of That NBA Lottery Pick, this is the first time that we can claim that an NBA player posterized his own brother in an official game.Check out the below clip from last night's Brooklyn Nets/New Orleans Hornets game as Brook Lopez threw down a monster dunk on his brother, Robin:

Game 65 Recap: Nets 108, Hornets 98. The One Where The Lopez Brothers Battled Hard, But D-Will ...

Brook and Robin Lopez were both centers for Stanford in college. And tonight, they faced off against each other in the NBA, with one on the Nets and the other on the Hornets   It wasn't necessarily easy, but it was a win nonetheless. Encountering stiff competition from a New Orleans squad missing a bunch of players due to injury, mainly key reserve and former...

Brook Lopez dunked on twin brother Robin Lopez (Video)

No two players in the NBA are more familiar with each other’s game than Brook Lopez and Robin Lopez. Brothers who grow up together typically play sports against one another, but brothers who are the exact same age and grow up to be 7-feet tall probably take that to another level. With that in mind, it’s safe to assume the Lopez brothers are accustomed to dunking on one another...

Brook Lopez Posterizes his Twin Brother (Video)

Well, this should make family dinner a little awkward. Brooklyn Nets center Brook Lopez has a twin brother Robin Lopez who plays for the New Orleans Hornets. Eric Gordon dunks on Brook Lopez and Gerald Wallace

Talk about a confidence boost. New Orleans Hornets (or Pelicans, I get confused) swingman, Eric Gordon, cruises through the lane and hammers-home a big jam on not one, but two capable Brooklyn shot-blockers. That’s going to leave a mark! The often-injured Gordon can get up, but fans may forget this at times, and apparently Brook Lopez and Gerald Wallace fell asleep in the film...

Eric Gordon Dunks On Brook Lopez, Gerald Wallace

After posterizing his twin brother, Robin, in the Nets-Hornets game at Barclays Center Tuesday night, Brook Lopez was put on a poster himself as 6’3 Eric Gordon soared past him and teammate Gerald Wallace for the slam.
