Formal confirmation came Thursday morning that the NBA indeed will pull the sleeved jersey’s for their annual loaded Christmas Day schedule of games.
the NBA’s promotional commercial for its “Big Logo” sleeved jerseys was uploaded to YouTube and features several NBA stars including Derrick Rose, Kevin Durant, Stephen Curry, James Harden, Steve Nash and LeBron James.
So what do my readers think of the jersey’s?
Here’s behind the scenes footage of the cool commercial.
BEST OF MAXIM
LeBron James is not happy, which is actually a good thing for the Miami Heat. Three years and two championships into this great experiment on South Beach, James and the Heat have come to expect more than the team’s 4-3 start.
Yet while James’ tough talk about the Heat’s need to shore up their defense is a necessary step in addressing the problem, all the bold declarations and...
LeBron James took to Twitter to comment on the play of freshmen such as Andrew Wiggins, but thought the new foul rules were hurting the college game.
Miami Heat center Chris Bosh videobombed superstar LeBron James by throwing a towel over his head during a postgame interview after Tuesday night's 118-95 win over Milwaukee.
Bosh's videobombs are becoming a postgame tradition after Heat victories, and the towel is a new twist to keep things fresh.

After this year’s Christmas Day uniforms – sleeves and all – leaked online last week, the NBA has released this “Jingle Hoops” ad this week to officially confirm the rumors. Watch Kevin Durant, Stephen Curry, Derrick Rose, James Harden and Steve Nash sink shots to the tune of “Jingle Bells” while LeBron James provides the exclamation point with a jam.
[Beyond the Buzzer...
The defensive effort was closer to Miami Heat standards.
LeBron James made it difficult to notice anything but offense.
James scored 33 points on 13 for 21 shooting -- with an array of post-up moves getting him going early, then a barrage of 3-pointers fueling a big third-quarter push -- and the Heat encountered little trouble on the way to a 118-95 win over the Milwaukee Bucks...
LeBron James used Dirk Nowitzki’s signature move to perfection to beat the Dallas Mavericks on Friday night. The Miami Heat were leading the Mavs 100-97 with under three minutes left in the game when Dirk Nowitzki made a jumper to make it a 1-point game. LeBron answered by making a shot using Dirk’s one-legged fadeaway […]
The Miami Heat haven’t been their dominant selves thus far in the 2013-14 NBA season. While a slow start is no need for worry, a convincing 118-95 win over the Milwaukee Bucks on Tuesday night at AmericanAirlines Arena had to feel good for the now 5-3 Heat. So good, in fact, that Chris Bosh — […]The post Chris Bosh mimics pitcher’s windup in latest videobomb exhibition (video...
As the second quarter wound down in the Miami Heat-Milwaukee Bucks matchup, South Beach was electrified by a sick steal-to-fast break play between Dwyane Wade, LeBron James and Mario Chalmers.
It’s always showtime in Miami on just about any fast-break play. Watch the over-the-head lob pass from Mario Chalmers to LeBron James for the flush. Just Beautiful! One of the Miami Heat’s...
Lance Stephenson is turning into a star right before our eyes.
No not a superstar in the LeBron James, Kevin Durant mode. But a guy that night in and night out will fill the stat sheet like Scottie Pippin did a decade ago.
Stephenson’s true value can be found in the stat line he posted last night on his way to his first career triple double.
Stephenson dropped 13 points, 12...
The Lakers will have to manage without Steve Nash for at least two weeks as he tries to recover from a back injury.
Suffering from nerve root irritation, a problem that began when he broke his leg a year ago in the second game of the season, Nash's efforts will now be focused on getting healthy enough to fulfill his contract with the Lakers.
If he can't make it back, he...
Love the pass from Self Proclaimed Top 10 Point Guard Mario Chalmers.
Not many people gave Steve Nash a fighting chance to make it in the NBA after the kid from Canada came out of Santa Clara in 1996.
This was around the time the Phoenix Suns made Nash their 15th overall pick, before he became one of the most must-watch players in the game, before he won two NBA MVP titiles, was an 8-time all-star with stops in Dallas and now Los Angeles and even...
Steve Nash will miss at least the next two weeks. The Los Angeles Lakers guard was examined on Monday by back specialist Dr. Robert Watkins, who diagnosed Nash as having nerve root irritation.
Treatment will include an epidural block, which Nash is expected to receive on Tuesday. He will be re-evaluated in approximately ten days, and an update will be given at that time.
Ok, it is a pretty cool NBA commercial and the verdict may still be out on the jersey with sleeves and oversized logo for Christmas, but what about the dreaded “Jingle Hoops” curse no one is discussing.

MIAMI -- As a man who often uses Instagram himself, Miami Heat forward Michael Beasley saw LeBron James' post a night earlier concerning the King's namesake.
LeBron James Jr., 9, had gone for 25 points, eight rebounds and eight assists in a game on Thursday night.
"That's not fair, man," Beasley told FOX Sports Florida before aiming a message toward his talented...
