First it was San Antonio Spurs' Tony Parker's face getting etched into a Spurs fan's hair and now it seems Los Angeles Lakers fans can also show their crazed support of Kobe Bryant with a Kobe Bryant hair cut... literally. Tonight the Lakers and Thunder will play Game 2 of their semi finals series and LA is down 0-1 after getting manhandled in Game 1. So what better way to rally the team and show your support for star Kobe Bryant than having his face shaved into your hair. A barber out in Texas is providing Kobe fans a chance to show just how insane their love of "The Black Mamba" really is (h/t Busted Coverage). I mean, a fan will have to be out of their mind to go this far! Now I will admit, it looks cool, and the detail is superb but come on, this is taking it way to far. But then again, why stop there? Perhaps someone will get Charles Barkley kissing Dick Bavetta after their "epic" race, Reggie Evans flopping, or perhaps get a sweet Brian Sc...

Do not ask Kobe Bryant if the Lakers can guard the Thunder

Is asking Kobe Bryant can the Lakers guard the Thunder minutes after it was fairly obviously that they couldn’t in game 1 an unfair question? We’re not sure. All we’re sure of is that if you ask Kobe Bryant that question, he’ll leave the interview. H/T Ball Don’t Lie

Would Kobe Bryant take a charge?

Would LA Laker Kobe Bryant take a charge? He elaborated: ''I've seen them take charges and lay there with a messed-up back. I've seen Michael not take one ... charge and he's healthy his whole... Full story at Bob's Blitz ~ http://www.bobsblitz.com

Kobe reaches out to LeBron to see what else he can do to get Mike Brown fired

Running out of ideas and time, Kobe Bryant has reached out to fellow superstar LeBron James to solicit James’ opinion on other ways Bryant can get Lakers coach Mike Brown fired. Bryant has already been benched, pouted, played selfishly, openly questioned teammates and choke in the waning moments of big games, all of which are techniques James used to successfully get Mike Brown...

Kobe won't take charges

Sacrificing your body to take a charge is one of the great momentum builders in basketball. Absorbing the hit from an opposing player coming at you like a freight train takes its toll on the body, but for a lot of players the turnover is worth the sacrifice. Not for Los Angeles Laker Kobe Bryant. To paraphrase Meatloaf, Kobe would do anything for his team, but he won’t do that...

James and Bryant come up small in the clutch

For my money Kobe Bryant and LeBron James are the two best players in the NBA, with Kevin Durant right are there trail. However in there last playoff games both Bryant and James came up small when it mattered the most. In game two between the Miami Heat and the Indiana Pacers LeBron James was the best player on the court for 46 minutes but at the end of the game he...

Lakers can't match Thunder's energy, intensity

OKLAHOMA CITY If the Los Angeles Lakers are tired, no one was saying so Tuesday. If they are worn out, no one admitted it. And if the Lakers are serious about making a series out of this Western Conference semifinal, it's going to be hard to get anyone to believe it. Why should we at this point? No reason to think so. Two days after extending their season with a Game 7 win...

Russell Westbrook, Kevin Durant & Kobe Bryant’s postgame look

In game one of the Western Conference semi-finals between the Lakers and the Oklahoma City Thunder. One team came out ready and fully engaged, the other… Lakers get blown out in game one, 90-119. Turnovers and no defense of the pick & roll were huge factors plus the Thunder shot extremely well. But that’s how [...]

Spurs' Parker has outplayed Paul in first two games

If the Los Angeles Clippers are trying to take Tony Parker out in this series, they're not doing a very good job. The San Antonio Spurs' point guard dished out 11 assists in Game 1 and scored 22 in Game 2. San Antonio also happens to lead the Western Conference semifinals 2-0, with the best-of-seven shifting to Los Angeles for the next two games, beginning Saturday. The...

Spurs 105, Clippers 88

Tony Parker scored 22 points on his 30th birthday, Tim Duncan had 18 and the San Antonio Spurs beat the fading Los Angeles Clippers 105-88 on Thursday night, pushing their winning streak to 16 and taking a 2-0 lead in their Western Conference semifinal series. Chris Paul responded to his awful Game 1 with only a slightly better encore, scoring 10 points as the Clippers now head...

Spurs vs. Clippers Game 2: Postgame videos

The San Antonio Spurs took a commanding 2-0 series lead in the Western Conference semi finals against the Los Angeles Clippers as the scene now shifts to Los Angeles for Game 3 tomorrow afternoon. It was another well-balanced attack by the Spurs as several players scored in double-digits, and the team showed poise when the Clippers made their runs. They way San Antonio is playing...
