Before Chris Bosh’s injury, the Indiana Pacers were the consensus underdog in the series against the Miami Heat. Now with Bosh out, some are beginning to believe that the Pacers have a golden opportunity to knock off the Heat. And that group now includes the Pacers themselves. As the second half wore on in game 2, you could see the confidence building in the Pacer bunch and once they held on for the win, the young Pacers couldn’t contain themselves. They celebrated like they had just won the NBA title. Pacers veteran David West insisted that his young teammates’ “act like they’ve been there” to no avail. And West wasn’t the only one who thought that the Pacers’ celebration was a little much. Dwyane Wade did too. “I heard they wanted to be like the Dallas Mavericks, in a sense,” Wade said about an apparent reference to Pacers coach Frank Vogel using last year’s Mavs team, which beat the Heat in Miami for the title, as motivation for Indiana. “I saw their little celebration at th

MIAMI—Chris Bosh won’t be taking the floor for the remainder of his team’s series against the Pacers, but he's wholly convinced he is still an integral and valued member of the Heat and has assured the nursing staff at his rehab clinic that his teammates would definitely be by to see him before visiting hours conclude today. “They’ll be here any moment,” Bosh...

Following the team's practice Saturday, Wade chalked up his heated sideline exchange in the third quarter of a 94-75 blowout loss to the Indiana Pacers with Spoelstra as ''emotional and in the heat of the battle.'' Dwyane Wade gets no punishment for flattening Darren Collison

Last night, a frustrated Dwyane Wade clearly shoved Darren Collison to the ground in transition, earning himself a flagrant 1 foul. Many people immediately compared it to the Jason Smith foul on Blake Griffin, which was called a Flagrant 2, and earned Smith a 2 game suspension. Even though the plays are similar, the league saw fit to not only not upgrade Wade's foul...

Heat's offense suffers without Bosh in Game 2

MIAMI Chris Bosh is most appreciated when he doesn't play. In March, the Miami big man missed three games and the Heat lost two, to Utah and the Lakers. That sparked a minor panic about Miami's lack of size. Bosh soon returned and again was mostly forgotten about. The acclaim went to Heat perimeter stars LeBron James and Dwyane Wade. Well, Bosh is out again. And, judging...

Let's See How Good the Heat's Superstar Duo Really Is

We all know about the hype that comes with the Miami Heat's "Big 3" that includes Dwayne Wade, LeBron James and Chris Bosh. I have been one of the biggest critics of the "Big 3," calling them the "Big 2 and a really good role player." Bosh would be the role player in my eyes because I never thought he was that great when he was the man on the Toronto...
