After dismantling the world Chump Heat... the make up of this Knick team will not be taking nights off as they have done under past coaches. The depth of this team is plain out scary. Philly has no chance of even making this game competitive. The quality of our bench will keep each starter on their toes.. every night.  Rasheed Wallace has been the most overlooked piece of our roster since his signing. Keep in mind Sheed just turned 38. He's younger than Kirt Thomas ( who plays 10 years younger than his age) younger than Jason Kidd and Camby. Rasheed's size, shooting ability and defensive presence brings chills to think of him putting 15-20 quality minutes per night at the 4 or 5. In the past the Knicks would most likely have a drop off game considering the thumping we just gave the Heat. Not this year. An argument can be made that our entire roster could possibly be starters on other teams in this league... including the man who made the final cut ..Chris Copeland. Thank God...

Rasheed Wallace nails buzzer beater

As I said in the last post I went to the New York Knicks game in Philly tonight and J.R. Smith had the play of the game. While that may be so no player electrified the crowd then Philly native Rasheed Wallace. EVERY time Sheed touched the ball the crowd would start to chant SHEEEEED and every time he hoisted a three you’d hear the chant even louder or a collective sigh. You...

Rasheed Wallace For Three!

Last night the Knicks surprised many with their thrashing of the Miami Heat. With blowouts, the always live Madison Square Garden crowd has something to say. Well, last night’s chants had to do with Rasheed Wallace entering the court. According to Pro Basketball Talk, after the crowd ignited the idea Coach Mike Woodson had this to say to Wallace. “You want to play, Rasheed?” Woodson...

Here at Menudo Bol, we love Rasheed Wallace and now it seems so does MSG. Must feel great for Wallace to hear the chants calling for his check in on the court. And in classic Sheed fashion, he drills a 3. Welcome back Sheed.

Video: Rasheed Wallace makes NBA comeback tonight, scores a 3 pointer

Things got kind of crazy in Madison Square Garden tonight as the Knicks defeated the Heat. But the crowd begged Mike Woodson to put Rasheed Wallace in, and Woodson obeyed. 'Sheed proceeded to play for 3 minutes and make one 3 pointer, which is very different from all of his talk during the off-season about how he was coming back to show all the younger players how to play in...

The Knicks had their home opener Friday night at Madison Square Garden while the city recovered from the turmoil of Hurricane Sandy.
