Found December 29, 2012 on NBA 24/7 365:
Terrence Ross has regularly been wowing us with his athleticism for weeks now, and just last night he threw down one of the nastiest poster dunks of the season.  Unfortunately, it didn’t count.  Just before the would-be victim, Jason Smith, could jump to contest the jam, Amir Johnson held his arm.  The foul was subtle, but the officials caught it and a whistle was blown, negating the dunk and wiping two Raptor points off the board.  It’s a shame that Johnson felt the need to impede Smith’s progress — it’s not like Smith was about to do anything but get destroyed — but it is what it is, and I’m forced to award this POTD to Tayshaun Prince. Honorable mentions to Chris Bosh and Tim Duncan. Dunk rating on the Starbury Nastiness Scale: 7.5/10 2012/13 Daily Poster Stats Throwback Poster of the Day: One of Carmelo Anthony’s many dunks on Theo Ratliff… Too bad Melo’s affinity for dunking disappeared around the same time his cornrows did.  Though he was never a high flyer, Melo used to posterize people on a regular basis.  What happened?  He’s only 28.

Allen says trade from Bucks motivated him

MILWAUKEE -- Ray Allen sat in a very familiar location at the BMO Harris Bradley Center on Saturday night. No, that's no longer the home locker room. It's been far too long since he left. Instead, Allen has grown accustomed to the spot in front of a locker in the visitor's dressing room, where he set up shop prior to his first NBA team's game against his latest one...

LeBron James will never enter NBA Dunk Contest in order to never risk losing

LeBron James announced this week that he will never compete in the NBA Slam Dunk Contest during All-Star Weekend. The 27 year old James, still in the athletic peak of his career, claims he's too old now to enter it (Dominique Wilkins won the contest at the age of 30). “It’s over with. I’m getting too old… It’s a taxing season. A lot of stars play a lot of the bulk...

Heat Release Statement Disagreeing With Wade Suspension

“While we accept the decision of the NBA regarding Dwyane Wade, we do not agree with it. In his 10 years in the league, Dwyane has never been suspended, and has been an exemplary player and positive influence to his teammates and fans and we have been honored to have him as part of the Miami Heat family. Unfortunately, he is the type of player, along with other players on our roster...

Mbah a Moute expanding offensive skill set

ST. FRANCIS, Wis. -- In the final seconds of a close game with the Miami Heat, who would Luc Richard Mbah a Moute rather guard, LeBron James or Dwyane Wade? "They both are bad options," Mbah a Moute said with a grin. "I don't have a preference. Both those guys are tough in their own way." Welcome to Mbah a Moute's world. A world in which he's tasked...

Heat-Magic Preview

The return of Dwyane Wade wasn't enough to help the Miami Heat avoid losing back-to-back games. A visit to the slumping Orlando Magic might keep their skid from growing to a season-high mark. While LeBron James attempts to add to an impressive scoring run Monday, Miami will try to get back on track by sending Orlando to its first six-game losing streak in nearly seven years...
