The Chicago Bulls’ season started with a thud amidst high hopes. Through a combination of concern about whether the Miami Heat could three-peat, and optimism about Derrick Rose’s return, the Bulls were a chic pick to make it out of the Eastern Conference and win the NBA Finals. Unsurprisingly, the Bulls fell flat and looked bad in a few early contests, against Miami and Indiana...

Chicago fans are once again grieving over the superstar point guard sitting on the bench due to injury. Derrick Rose 'unlikely' against Raptors

Don't panic, Bulls fans. He's OK. After missing practice on Thursday and sitting out shootaround, Tom Thibodeau said Derrick Rose is "unlikely" to play against the Raptors on Friday. Rose is recovering from a mild hamstring injury he suffered a week ago against the Cavs. "It's not a concern at all," Rose said on Thursday. "I think everything...

Rose, Bulls halt Pacers' undefeated run with blowout win

The fact that Derrick Rose’s best regular-season game thus far coincided with the Bulls’ (5-3) best offensive game of the campaign was nice, but doing it against the previously undefeated Pacers (9-1) made it even better. The Bulls, led by Rose’s six three-pointers, dominated Indiana on both ends of the floor, leading to a 110-94 win Saturday night at the United Center. ...

Raptors coach Dwane Casey believes squad is well ahead of last year's team

Dwane Casey isn't worried that some bad losses might send his team off of the rails like a year ago. Bad play and bad luck conspired the Raptors to a season-demolishing 4-19 start to the 2012-13 campaign. Once the losses piled up, the young squad could not pull itself out of the tailspin. This season's schedule doesn't let up until mid-January, meaning the record might...

Pacers-Bulls Preview

Even with Derrick Rose, the Chicago Bulls were outmatched by the Indiana Pacers last week. Then again, no team has been Indiana's match this season.
