Shaq's Top Moments With Lakers (credit: Jed Jacobson/Allsport) LOS ANGELES (CBS) – It is all coming together for Shaquille O’Neal and his post retirement plans. In June of 2011 the Lakers announced they will hang No. 34 at Staples Center, but with no timetable of the ceremony. Today, NBA.com reports the Lakers will retire Shaq’s No 34 jersey during the 2012-2013 seasons. The report also indicated the Lakers would have done it earlier but didn’t want to rush it during a shortened season. Shaq won 3 straight NBA titles with Kobe Bryant and the Lakers from 2000-2003.
