According to Yahoo! Sports' Adrian Wojnarowski, the San Antonio Spurs are one of four possible suitors for free agent forward Mike Miller who was amnestied two days ago by the Miami Heat, but was not picked up by teams below the cap in the amnesty waivers. Possible suitors for Miller include Spurs, Thunder, Rockets and Warriors. — Adrian Wojnarowski (@WojYahooNBA) July 18, 2013 Now that Miller cleared waivers, he'll still be paid what Miami owed him but he can now sign for the veteran minimum if he so chooses. The Spurs currently have one roster spot remaining that may still be available for restricted free agent Gary Neal if the price is right, free agent center Greg Oden (whose name has been associated with San Antonio in countless rumors), or possibly the Spurs' 58th second round draft pick Deshaun Thomas. You can now add Miller to the list of 15th spot candadites as well. Miller is 33 years of age and in 59 regular season games with the Heat, Miller averaged 15.2 minutes, shot 42% from 3-point range and averaged 4.8 points per game. The Spurs saw first hand how effective Miller can still be as he averaged 21.8 minutes, shot 61% from 3-point range, and averaged 5.3 points per game in the NBA Finals.  He was part of the Heat's historic Game 6 comeback as he was responsible for grabbing one of the key offensive rebounds that would eventually help the Heat prevent a 5th championship for the Spurs. However, the competition will be tough for the Spurs as the Oklahoma City Thunder specifically will be looking for a productive wing shooter after missing out on Kevin Martin and Dorrell Wright in free agency.
