Lindsey Hunter’s stay in Phoenix last season didn’t exactly go as planned. He was brought in as a player development guy and was supposed to help Kendall Marshall but there was not much in terms of players developing. Then when Phoenix cleaned house and Alvin Gentry was pushed out Hunter became the head coach… and that didn’t go much better. It was a young immature locker room and Hunter was not in control of it. Hopefully things go better for him in the Bay Area because that’s where he is headed as an assistant coach reports Ric Bucher at CSNBayArea.com.
