Since I'm from Boston I hate every Laker that there is. But there's one that I hate more than the rest and that's Ron Artest, or Metta World Peace if you take that seriously. It seems that Artest is determined to bring peace into the world whether people want it or not, one elbow at a time. After making a good play and beating his chest like the class act that he is, he elbows James Harden directly in the head. He obviously tries to contest that it was an accident but nobody believes that.
When I see it in real-time it does look like an accident, in the sense that he meant to elbow Harden, just not in the head. When you elbow somebody in the head though you're immediately aware of it and would go to help them up. That's why he is and always will be a scumbag. A person who jumps into the crowd to start fights, thank his therapist on national TV and elbow people in the temple isn't a exactly role model material. Although I don't watch athletes play sports because they're upstanding citizens so it feels like a moot point.
TL;DR Ron Artest changing his name to Metta World Peace hasn't actually made him more peaceful.
Yesterday the NBA suspended Lakers forward Metta World Peace for seven games after World Peace concussed Oklahoma City Thunder guard James Harden with a flagrant elbow Sunday night.
The suspension is the fourteenth in the 14-year NBA career of World Peace, formerly known as Ron Artest.

Metta World Peace sent another unintentional elbow to the NBA headquarters.
After a dozen years of elbowing and other infractions, that is Ron Artest’s story–and he’s sticking to it.
Having entered a new age where giving a sports opponent a concussion has become the new form of brutality and abuse, Ron Artest remains a traditionalist. He believes in bone to...

I’m just going to come right out and say it Eye On Sports NBA fans … Ron Artest a.k.a. Metta World Peace, is a low-life scum of the earth *******!I’m sorry, but there was no other way for me to express how I truly feel about Artest after seeing the potentially life-threatening elbow that Peace hit Oklahoma City Thunder guard James Harden with in Sunday’s thrilling double...
Los Angeles Lakers forward Ron Artest absolutely lays out Oklahoma City guard James Harden with a vicious elbow in Sundays game. The Lakers won the game in double overtime 114-106. Earlier this year Kobe and Harden engaged in a trash talking episode.
Do you see random sh$% while driving to work and think it needs to be seen by the masses? Does the guy who sits next to you at work look like a tool on a daily basis? Does your dog lick his balls in an odd fashion? Is your neighbor working on some sort of outer space vehicle behind his shed? We want your WTF photos.
Metta World Peace reverted back to his Ron Artest days Sunday. He tried to claim innocence saying that his brutal elbow to the head Oklahoma City guard James Harden was merely an extension of his macho chest-banging celebration. Hopefully David Stern’s posse lays the wood so that Ron Metta Peace is away from the court for a long time. The Lakers play their final regular season...

Metta World Peace changed his name from Ron Artest before this season, but he's dealing with the same old controversy after his elbow to the head of Oklahoma City guard James Harden on Sunday.
World Peace was ejected just before halftime in the Lakers' 114-106 double-overtime victory over the Thunder. He was pounding his chest with his right hand to celebrate a dunk, and...

Metta World Peace -- formerly known as Ron Artest -- hasn't yet heard from the league office, but oddsmakers are already anticipating that the NBA will come down hard on the eccentric forward. Bovada has set the line on World Peace's suspension for elbowing James Harden at 7 1/2 games. If the over wins out, and Artest is suspended eight games or more, it would mean he would...
LOS ANGELES On a day that saw Metta World Peace resurrect Ron Artest, the Lakers came back from the near-dead to grab a crucial win at STAPLES Center.
With Kobe Bryant hitting his usual array of clutch shots and an unexpected contribution from a seldom-used backup, L.A. beat the conference-leading Oklahoma City Thunder 114-106 in a double-overtime session which lasted for 3 hours...
