(Credit: zimbio.com) Indiana Pacers center Roy Hibbert made the world take notice when his squad pushed the favored Miami Heat to seven games in the NBA’s Eastern Conference Finals. Hibbert’s character also shone through on several occasions. It’s easy to see he’s a humble, intelligent guy who’s worked himself to the bone to get to where he is. While Roy Hibbert can only improve as the Pacers forge ahead, he took time out to personally thank LeBron James, Chris Bosh, and Dwyane Wade on Twitter for making him a better player: Competing against @kingjames @chrisbosh @dwyanewade was 1 tough challenge. Yall made me a better player n I thank y’all for that. Good luck — Roy Hibbert (@Hoya2aPacer) June 6, 2013   The post Roy Hibbert thanks the Heat on Twitter appeared first on Pass The Pill - Kings of Hoops.

Chris Bosh confident as ever heading into finals

MIAMI (AP) -- The last time Chris Bosh played against the San Antonio Spurs, he was offensively brilliant. It seems like a long time ago. During the Eastern Conference finals, Bosh found himself in a baffling slump, missing 26 of his last 34 shots and not even reaching the double-digit mark in scoring during any of his last four games -- the longest such drought for the All-Star...

Report: Justin Bieber Refused to Be Photographed at Miami Heat Game Until Team Dancer Was Brought Over

Call me a belieber — that Justin Bieber probably isn’t such a nice guy. On Monday, the pop star was seen attending Game 7 of the NBA Eastern Conference finals at America Airlines Arena in Miami, sporting an all-leather getup that attracted much attention itself. For the game Bieber was seated next to a young woman apparently just by coincidence, but dragged her into the fray...

Tony Parker sinks Heat in Game One

The Heat had lost their lead. They had lost their mojo and momentum. They had committed turnovers and could not quite get going on the right foot in transition. Miami played well, but found themselves in dire straights. There was LeBron James guarding Tony Parker one on one with time ticking away. The Heat, struggling to contain Parker throughout the night, changed the defensive...

Spurs rally to stun Heat in Game 1 of NBA Finals

MIAMI (AP) -- Tony Parker banked in a 16-footer with 5.2 seconds left for the last of his 21 points and the San Antonio Spurs stunned the Miami Heat 92-88 in Game 1 of the NBA Finals on Thursday night. Tim Duncan had 20 points, 14 rebounds and three blocks, and Manu Ginobili scored 13 points for the Spurs, who are in the finals for the first time since 2007 and are pursuing their...

“Peter Holt and I talked about getting together in the Finals in 2000,” Miami Heat managing general partner Mickey Arison said during Monday night’s Eastern Conference Championship trophy presentation. “It took fourteen years, but we’re looking forward to welcoming San Antonio to Miami.” While this specific match-up might not be fourteen years in the making, [...]

Spurs - Heat Game One: Take, Not Steal

Or Tear Paper As part of my gym self-punishment for missing days early in the month, I spent a solid hour reading the captioned audio of the ESPN pre-game, whiling away treadmill miles while various blow-dried heads talked about how important Boris Diaw is. (Hint: he's not! Mostly because he's fat, slow and useless!) But as my physical and karmic pain intensified, it seemed...
