Sports Business Digest:
The Power Balance roster has just gotten a little bigger.
Power Balance, the company who is probably best known for their creation and distribution of its Power Balance Performance silicone wristband, has added Memphis Grizzles Forward Rudy Gay to its list of athlete endorsers.
"Rudy will be a phenomenal addition to our team. He's a dynamic player with superb skills," said Power Balance Technologies CEO, Denny Barge. "We are proud to have not only an outstanding talent on the court representing Power Balance, but also someone who is passionate about giving back to the community." (via Press Release)
Gay joins New Orleans Saints QB Drew Brees and Los Angeles Dodgers OF Matt Kemp as notable athletes who have endorsed the Power Balance products.
"I am honored to join the impressive group of athletes on the Power Balance team," stated Gay. "I've played some of my best games wearing Power Balance."
Power Balance is headquartered in Orange County, CA and they distribute their products in the U.S. and internationally in more than 40 countries. More information on the company can be found on the Power Balance website.
And yes, in case you were wondering, this is the same Power Balance who filed chapter 11 bankruptcy and settled a class action suit with a $57 million dollar settlement last year.

We haven’t heard much from Jeremy Pargo since his days at Gonzaga. Recently though, Pargo had an incredible play in a NBA summer league game. Right now Pargo is a member of the Memphis Grizzlies but he is very unlikely to their roster during the season. Still though Pargo made an increbile play during a recent summer league game.
Pargo had the ball at the top of three...
Tony Wroten Jr. may struggle to carve out minutes in the Grizzlies rotation.
It’s only Summer League? Yeah, I hear you, but did that make the rim any larger for second-year Grizzly Josh Selby? If not, then consider me nearly as impressed as whoever it was that gave him a third-place vote for Rookie of the Year. I don’t give a sh!t what league you’re playing in… to shoot 55.7% from the floor over a span of five games whilst averaging 24 a night...

He's not white, but at least he's a much needed big-man (at least, bigger than Wayne Ellington. I think. Maybe.) CAN YOU FEEL IT?!?Jerry Zgoda reporting:
That Wolves trade that has been in the works for days and days -- shooting guard Wayne Ellington to Memphis for forward Dante Cunningham -- will finally be official later today.
