The Power Balance roster has just gotten a little bigger. Power Balance, the company who is probably best known for their creation and distribution of its Power Balance Performance silicone wristband, has added Memphis Grizzles Forward Rudy Gay to its list of athlete endorsers.
"Rudy will be a phenomenal addition to our team. He's a dynamic player with superb skills," said Power Balance Technologies CEO, Denny Barge. "We are proud to have not only an outstanding talent on the court representing Power Balance, but also someone who is passionate about giving back to the community." (via Press Release)
Gay joins New Orleans Saints QB Drew Brees and Los Angeles Dodgers OF Matt Kemp as notable athletes who have endorsed the Power Balance products.
"I am honored to join the impressive group of athletes on the Power Balance team," stated Gay. "I've played some of my best games wearing Power Balance."
Power Balance is headquartered in Orange County, CA and they distribute their products in the U.S. and internationally in more than 40 countries.  More information on the company can be found on the Power Balance website. And yes, in case you were wondering, this is the same Power Balance who filed chapter 11 bankruptcy and settled a class action suit with a $57 million dollar settlement last year.
